Prepare for an early morning departure for the game safari drive in the park, where you will encounter numerous elephants, buffaloes, hippos, kobs, and more. The trip includes several stopovers for scenic views and photography. Enjoy time at the equator, Mpambire craft makers, and Bushenyi farmlands for sightseeing. We will then proceed through the wetlands and tea plantations of western Uganda, descending onto the plains of the Queen Elizabeth conservation area, arriving at our lodge by late afternoon. There may be an opportunity for an evening game drive to spot hyenas, leopards, elephants, and the iconic tree-climbing lions, or you might prefer to relax and watch the sunset from the comfort of your lodge bar.
Game Drive and Transfer to Bwindi National Park
Queen Elizabeth National Park - After an early breakfast, embark on a game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park to see the renowned elephants, hippos sand bathing, buffaloes, leopards, and bushbucks. Following lunch, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, where you will observe many elephants, buffaloes, and hippos swimming, along with beautiful birds. After lunch at the lodge, we will take the winding road through the lakes, forests, and mountains of western Uganda, reaching our destination overlooking the Ruhija sector of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest by late afternoon. Check into your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Gorilla Trekking Day
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Begin the day with an early breakfast before heading to the park offices. After a briefing from your ranger, set out on foot to locate your gorilla group. The trek can last from 30 minutes to 4 hours, typically ranging from 1 to 2 hours. The journey may be challenging, with steep terrain, dense vegetation, and wet weather, but encountering these magnificent creatures makes it all worthwhile! Spend an hour observing their daily activities up close, following them through the forest. The time will pass quickly, but the memories will last a lifetime. Return to the hotel for relaxation and rejuvenation. Take in the stunning scenery and capture as many photos as you can.
Transfer back to Kampala, Stopover at Lake Mburo
Lake Mburo National Park - In the early morning, check out of your hotel and begin the journey back to Kampala, enjoying the beautiful landscapes of hills and farmlands in southwestern Uganda. Arrive at Lake Mburo National Park in the afternoon, where we will pause for about 3 hours to search for the famous zebras. Afterwards, continue to Kampala and your hotel. We will reach Entebbe in the evening for drop-off.
