Prepare for an early morning departure for the Queen Elizabeth National Park game safari drive. In this park, you will encounter numerous elephants, buffaloes, hippos, kobs, and more. The journey includes several stopovers for scenic views and photography. Enjoy some time at the equator, Mpambire craft makers, and Bushenyi farmlands for sightseeing. The journey continues through the wetlands and tea plantations of western Uganda, descending onto the plains of the Queen Elizabeth conservation area, arriving at the lodge in the late afternoon. There may be time for an evening game drive to spot hyenas, leopards, elephants, and the iconic tree-climbing lions, or you might prefer to watch the sunset from the peaceful lodge bar.
Game Drive and Transfer to Bwindi National Park
Queen Elizabeth National Park - After an early breakfast, embark on a game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park to see the renowned elephants, hippos sand bathing, buffaloes, leopards, and bushbucks. After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, where you will see many elephants, buffaloes, and hippos swimming, along with beautiful birds. Following lunch at the lodge, travel along the winding road through the lakes, forests, and mountains of western Uganda. Arrive at the destination overlooking the Ruhija sector of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in the late afternoon. Check into your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Gorilla Trekking Day
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Start the day with an early breakfast before heading to the park offices. After a briefing from the ranger, set off on foot to locate your gorilla group. The trek can last from 30 minutes to 4 hours, typically taking 1-2 hours. The terrain can be challenging, with steep paths, lush vegetation, and wet weather, but encountering these magnificent creatures makes it all worthwhile! Spend one hour observing their daily activities up close, following them through the forest. The time will pass quickly, but the memories will last a lifetime. Return to the hotel for relaxation and rejuvenation. Enjoy the stunning scenery and capture as many photos as possible.
Transfer back to Kampala, Stopover at Lake Mburo
Lake Mburo National Park - In the early morning, check out of your hotel and begin the journey back to Kampala, filled with beautiful scenery such as hills and farmlands in southwestern Uganda. Arrive at Lake Mburo National Park in the afternoon, where there will be a 3-hour stop to search for the famous zebras. Afterwards, continue to Kampala and your hotel. Arrive in Entebbe in the evening for drop-off.
