Arrival in Entebbe.

Entebbe - Upon arrival, guests will be warmly greeted by a company representative who will escort them to their pre-arranged accommodation in Entebbe. Depending on the arrival time, visitors can enjoy a trip to the Entebbe Botanical Gardens, a delightful spot filled with birds and a serene atmosphere. Afterwards, they will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.

Murchison Falls National Park - After a morning breakfast, guests will be transferred to Murchison Falls National Park, one of Uganda’s most visited ecosystems, located in the northern part of the country. The destination offers a remarkable experience, starting with the main attraction, Murchison Falls. There will be a stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a rhino tracking session, conducted on foot with an experienced ranger guide, lasting 2-3 hours. Following this, guests will be driven to Murchison Falls National Park, where they will enjoy an evening with snacks, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at their chosen lodge.

Morning Game Drives and Afternoon Boat Cruise along the Victoria Nile.

Murchison Falls National Park - After breakfast, guests will embark on a game drive through well-marked trails, where they can expect to see wildlife such as lions, leopards, Jackson hartebeests, jackals, oribis, hyenas, bushbucks, and warthogs. The morning is an ideal time to observe animal activity as they graze and hunt. The drive lasts 2-3 hours, allowing for photography and enjoyment of the wilderness. Guests will return to the lodge for lunch, followed by an afternoon boat cruise to the base of the falls. The sight of the falls is a magical experience, and along the way, guests may see schools of hippos, basking crocodiles, and numerous birds. On a lucky day, they might spot a shoebill stork in the marshy areas. Afterward, guests will meet their guide, who will take them back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Kibale Forest National Park - Kibale Forest National Park is home to 13 primate species in Uganda, with chimpanzees being the most sought after. These primates live in troops of up to 100 members, led by a male alpha. Following an early morning breakfast, guests will be transferred to Uganda’s largest conservation area. The drive takes a full day, passing through beautiful villages and small towns in the Kagadi district. Guests will arrive in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay at their preferred lodge. If time permits, they can take a walk around the camp, enjoying views of the crater lakes.

Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Swamp Walk

Kibale National Park - After an early morning breakfast, guests will be transferred to Kanyanchu, the park headquarters of Kibale, for a briefing about the forest and chimpanzees. In groups of six, they will be guided into the forest, where they may encounter other species such as black and white colobus monkeys and red-tailed monkeys. The trek through the forest takes 2-3 hours in search of man’s closest relatives, who share up to 98% of human DNA. Guests are allowed an hour with the primates to interact and take pictures. They will then return to meet their guide and head back to the lodge for lunch, followed by an afternoon visit to the Bigodi Swamp, where more primates and numerous birds can be seen. Dinner and an overnight stay will follow.

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and Evening Game Drives

Queen Elizabeth National Park - On this day, guests will have an early morning breakfast before transferring to Uganda’s second-largest conservation area, known for its diverse ecosystem. The drive from Kibale Forest National Park will take them through the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, Ishasha, renowned for tree-climbing lions. On a lucky day, guests might see some in the fig trees. They can expect to encounter various animals in the corridor, such as topis, elands, and waterbucks. After checking in at the lodge, an evening game drive will conclude with sundowners. Guests will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Morning Game Drives and Kazinga Boat Cruise.

Queen Elizabeth National Park - Early in the morning, guests will be transferred to the Kasenyi Plains for game drives. The savannah plains of this region are home to many animal species, and through the well-distributed game routes in the park, guests can expect to see waterbucks, lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and various bird species. The drive lasts 2-3 hours in open safari cars or game viewers, providing opportunities to view and photograph the wildlife. Guests will return to the lodge for lunch, followed by an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, an oasis in the wild, especially during the dry season. Numerous animal species come to graze, and the channel connects the two rift valley lakes of Edward and George. The cruise lasts 2-3 hours, depending on weather conditions.

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - On this day, guests will have an early morning breakfast before transferring to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through the Ishasha animal corridor, arriving in time for a hot lunch. In the afternoon, they will visit the Batwa community, one of the last remaining short-statured people in Uganda. They once lived in the forest but were relocated for conservation purposes and now reside in the surrounding areas. Known as the keepers of the forest, they will offer a tour through their perspective. Dinner and an overnight stay will follow.

Full-Day Gorilla Trekking Experience.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - After a morning breakfast, guests will be transferred to the park headquarters for gorilla trekking. Following a briefing from the Uganda Wildlife Game Rangers, groups of eight will be assigned a gorilla family to track. The activity can take 2-8 hours or even the entire day. The hike through the forest is challenging, but upon meeting the gentle, brown-eyed gorillas, any fatigue fades away as guests engage and interact with them. An hour is allowed with the primates before returning to meet the guide, who will transfer guests to their accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
