Amazing Herculaneum - a unique and authentic experience - Visiting Herculaneum with Mario and Diego was one of the best experiences of our trip. Perfect organization from the first moment: we didn't have to think about anything, because they took care of everything, including skip-the-line tickets, which allowed us to avoid queues and start the visit immediately. The transfer was very comfortable, in a brand new Mercedes with air conditioning. Diego was a fantastic driver, very professional but also nice and helpful. And then there is Mario. A truly extraordinary guide, with an extraordinary charisma and passion that are perceived in every explanation. It made the day special, turning a simple visit into an immersive and memorable experience. Herculaneum struck us deeply, and Mario managed to make us grasp every detail: from perfectly preserved houses to charred wood, to the physical and chemical conditions of the eruption that made possible such an extraordinary conservation. His explanations were always clear, never heavy, but rich in content and curiosities that we would never have discovered alone. Mario really made a difference. An experience absolutely recommended for those who want to discover Herculaneum in an authentic, thorough and stress-free way, with a perfect organization in every detail.

Phenomenal Visit to Herculaneum - Diego our driver picked us up from the cruise dock in Naples and took us to Herculaneum. We were worried because our cruise line had a last minute change of dock location but Diego was right there when we got off the ship! It was a great ride full of historical information about what we were driving by peppered with fun anecdotes. Mario met us at Herculaneum and we had a wonderful guided tour. He was vibrant, knowledgeable and personable. He not only explained to us what life in Herculaneum was like but also the cataclysmic events that resulted in it’s destruction. We felt lucky to be walking through this historic site with someone like him. After our tour Diego took us to an exceptional place to eat. We highly recommend their services!

Herculaneum, a journey into everyday Roman life - The guided tour of Herculaneum was a surprising experience and profoundly different from Pompeii. Our guide, Mario, was clear, prepared and engaging, able to make us read the site with new eyes. Herculaneum impresses with its exceptional state of preservation, unique in the world: charred woods still visible, doors, balconies, stairs, original furnishings and everyday objects. Mario explained how the organic material, normally destined to disappear, has been preserved thanks to the eruption, allowing us to really understand Roman domestic life. Also very fascinating are the jewels, personal items and architectural elements, which tell the real stories of the inhabitants, from private houses to the fornicas on the sea. The visit was intense but never heavy, well organized and rich in content. Herculaneum is a more intimate and detailed site, perfect for those who want to go beyond the surface and as a guide the experience becomes truly complete.
