Pompeii Archaeological Park - Visit Pompeii for about 2 hours, exploring the ruins of the UNESCO heritage archaeological site. A thriving Roman city, Pompeii remained submerged for centuries by volcanic debris, after the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 BC. Pay the entrance fee on site and head inside to discover more, as you move through the ancient streets and ruins. You will be able to visit the site with a specialized guide.

Begin your day with a pickup from either the port of Naples or your hotel. Once you are in your vehicle, you will journey to the ancient city of Pompeii. Renowned for being buried under volcanic ash following Mount Vesuvius’s eruption, Pompeii is now one of Italy’s largest and most well-preserved archaeological sites. Enjoy a 2-hour guided tour to explore its highlights, strolling through historic streets to view ancient Roman baths, villas, and the forum. After the tour, depart Pompeii and ascend Mount Vesuvius, reaching an altitude of 1,000 meters. Your time at the crater is yours to enjoy; you may choose to hire a local mountain guide at your own expense. Later, return to Naples, where your tour concludes with a drop-off at your original starting point. This tour spans a total of 5 hours, with 1 hour allocated for travel between Pompeii, Vesuvius, and Naples.
