- Please allow for about 1 hour and 20 minutes to explain the rules at the beginning, play the game, and talk about gameplay after.
- We do not have a set age restriction though we recommend 12 or older if the group is made up of all kids.
- Kids under the age of 12 are best to be sure and play the game with a group of older siblings, friends and/or adults to enjoy the experience to the fullest.

Dana, our gamemaster, was helpful and nice! We got in right on time. The room we were taken to was decorated excellently and really created a vibe. Our group had a rough start with the first room, but that was our bad communication, nothing to do with the puzzle! Unfortunately, a few details in the second room were a big disappointment. The menu we were asked to place over the cocktail menu was so poorly cut out that we couldn't figure out what letters it was supposed to be revealing to us. With something that requires such precision, you think it would be carefully cut out by an exact-o knife. That really slowed us down from unlocking the safe which held important info. I would like to see that puzzle in particular fixed for the next guests. Otherwise, we had fun! Just would have liked to see a little more care on details.

Was totally surprised to find out that “with 1 more clue solved, we would be half way there”. Opened a drawer to find a black light flashlight, and spent time looking for fluorescent clues, only to be told that the drawer shouldn’t have been able to be opened. I guess there were just more challenges than we’re used to. Thought that the level rating was a little off. We had a PhD, an attorney, a 2 college grads, and to not even make it half way through was disappointing. Maybe we’ll try where we left off if we come back again.

I brought my oldest daughter a few years ago to the downtown location for a birthday trip and we had a great time! I returned this past weekend with my youngest daughter to the second location-I think that you guys do a tremendous job of setting up the rooms to be realistic and the clues are fun to solve! The one thing that was a bummer is that my daughter was new to escape rooms, and we had to start separated. I have never encountered this at any escape room before so I didn't even think to ask- I just wish that I had known this beforehand as I would have chosen a different theme/game where we could work side by side.

We couldn't finish the escape room because of a malfunction. It was a fun time, but a bit of a letdown. The gamemaster even said this specific puzzle was broken for other guests that week.

We’ve done upwards of 50-60 escape rooms and almost all of the escape rooms that Escape Room Erie has offered. One thing that makes an amazing escape room and a seamless experience for us is a good game master. Unfortunately the game master seemed distracted and was not thorough in her explanation of the room we were in. She harped so much about the safe in the room and making sure we only put in the correct code or would be stuck waiting minutes, that she failed to explain how to use the code locks for the train rooms. When we would call for a hint, she would reply with “Are you talking to me? Did you say something?” Also one of the doors for the train car room is either broken or off and it took us a hot minute just to open the door even after we put the code in.
