Notably, it is home to two endangered Andalusian botanical endemics, the Malaga evergreen and the white rosemary, as well as two from the western Mediterranean, the Balearic boxwood and the hawthorn. Additionally, the area features a Mediterranean scrub with juniper, oxicero, canadillo, holm oak, mastic, kermes oak, carob, olivilla, and palm hearts.
