Excellent Tour. Seniors Take Note. - Walking food tours have been our default “go to” familiarization tool for decades whenever we visit a new city, and we are glad that we chose the Valencia Tapas Crawl. Our hostess/guide, Ghita, was very good: personable, and knowledgeable about the sites and the food choices. We enjoyed the diversification of the choices, as well as that of the ages and nationalities of the other participants. As the oldest of the group (at 78) we experience some hearing problems, so the constant multiple conversations and background noise at the various sites detracted a bit from a 100% experience that we may have had in the days before wearing hearing aids. And, while Ghita and our much taller and younger Dutch colleagues kept up a brisk pace between sites (with us at the back of the pack due to hip and knee replacements), we were slower but tenacious. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour, the food and drink, and the camaraderie. Although exhausted by the end, we’d do it again. Our issues are ours, however, and we can highly recommend this tour.

Old town valencia tapas tour - Nice selection of tapas. Was full by the end, so plenty to eat. Quite a variety to include multiple types of seafood and methods of preparation. The locations were all quaint and Ghita did a great job guiding us.

Fantastic Evening Tapas Tour – A Must for Foodies! - As a fellow food tour operator in Germany, I always enjoy discovering how others bring their culinary experiences to life—and this one in Valencia truly impressed! The selection of venues was well-curated, offering a variety of delicious tapas paired with local drinks at each stop. The small-group format made it feel intimate and authentic, and the guide provided great insight into Valencia’s vibrant food scene and nightlife. Highly recommended as a tasty and engaging introduction to the city’s culinary culture. Thanks to the team of food lovers for a great evening!

Great Way to Start Vacation - Tapas Crawl - I am in Valencia with my husband on vacation. He booked the tapas crawl on the day that we arrived. It was the perfect way to start our vacation eating great local cuisine from Valencia. Our guide, Ghita was very informative, welcoming, and has a vibrant passion for food and culture. I would highly recommend taking this tapas crawl to capture the local cuisine with our guide Ghita.

Not up to expectations... - Having already done a Food Lover Tour in Barcelona the week prior and having an absolutely amazing guide and experience, I was really looking forward to this tour in Valencia. Unfortunately it did not live up to my expectation. Our group guide was Ghita, and while she was very sweet, she was also low energy and not very engaging. She mentioned several times being tired from a large tour she had led that morning, and it showed. We weren't told any interesting stories or information about the restaurants we were visiting, and she didn't make much effort to describe the foods we were trying. She spent a lot of the time on her phone until it was time to go to the next stop. At the last stop when it was time to go she said her goodbye and left us sitting at the table. I think she was really knowledgeable because when we did get her to talk she seemed to know a lot, but she clearly was not feeling it this night. As far as the food, all the dishes we tried were fine, but none stand out as memorable. Maybe with more explanation about the dish and why it was included on the tour it would have been worth remembering. Again, it was just a disappointing experience after the great one in Barcelona. Everyone has a bad day now and then, so I guess we were the unlucky group that day.
