Incredible Dolphin Watching Experience – Highly Recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - We went on the dolphin watching trip with H2O Madeira yesterday and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish! We were lucky enough to see a pod of beautiful bottlenose dolphins up close, such a magical moment for us and the kids.
The rib craft boat itself was brilliant fun, especially the exciting tricks the driver did at the end of the trip. Both the driver and the guide were super friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do, making the whole experience even better.
I’d 100% recommend H2O Madeira to anyone visiting the island. Definitely book in advance as spaces fill up quickly, plus TripAdvisor gives a small discount if you book through their platform. A truly memorable day for the whole family!

Value for money! - Fantastic tour with a cool dinghy! DE guide EN captain are not all EN friendly and enthusiastic, but also biologically very knowledgeable. They really take DE time, do EN their utmost and make for a great experience. Simply value for money – an absolute must!

Nice daytrip watching mazing animals - Nice, two hour boat tour alongside the coast line of Madeira. We spotted lots of dolphins, unfortunately no whales this time. The rib is fast and pretty comfortable.

a great experience and excellent service - The crew of the boat did everything to ensure we see dolphins. We ended up seeing 2 species, one in a large group of 80-100 individuals. We also spotted a young loggerhead turtle. The company follows ethical rules of wildlife watching to limit disturbance. I also appreciated the stop made to fish out plastic waste from the sea. All in all a great experience and excellent service.

Great experience - An exhilarating ride with a wonderful opportunity to observe a pod of pilot whales and learn more about them. One member of our family used a wheelchair and the friendly team provided attentive support to enable them to share in the same thrilling experience as the rest of the family.

Wonderful trip - We had a fantastic trip and saw whales and dolphins. The boat was very comfortable and the crew were very knowledgeable. We saw some beaked whales first and then went out to sea a long way find a pod of dolphins. We were encouraged to leave our seats to get a good view and we travelled along watching the dolphins swimming alongside the boat. It was truly amazing, we were so close! Would recommend this trip to everyone. We took teenage girls and my 86 year old mum. Everyone had a great time.
