Drive to Dallol visit lake Asale, where you can see the dramatic landscape formed by a volcanic eruptions and the sulphur and different minerals pouring out of the Earth. Overnight Hamedella
Hamedella - Earta’le Volcano
Erta Ale - Hamedella - Earta’le
Drive to Earta’le arrive in Askoma 2 km trek from Askoma and spend the night in watching the dramatic volcano. Return back to the campsite overnight camping at the campsite
Earta’le - Afdera - Semera
Erta Ale - Earta’le - Dalol - Mekele
Wake up early morning enjoy the sun rise coming up over the volcano mountain, continue the drive back to Semera via Lake Afdera one of the largest salt mining sites in Ethiopia optional bath at the salty lake and hot spring Late afternoon drive back to Semera and arrive between 4 - 5Pm.

The three-day tour covers the Danakil Depression, Dallol, the salt mine, and Erta Ale Volcano. Typically, visiting these sites takes up to four days, but our tour takes a different route, reducing the duration by one day while still offering the same experiences as the four-day tour.
On the third day, participants will return to Mekele in the late afternoon, with an option to fly back to Addis in the evening.
