Fun side tour around Evora - Bianca and her partner run a private tour company. She is an archeologist and it showed, with her passion and objectivity. These 7,000 year old monoliths were fascinating to see and ponder their purpose. Highly recommended

- I went to Portugal for a week-long holiday, and this tour was definitely the highlight! The guides were amazing, very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They answered all of our questions, and there was plenty of time to stop for pictures and sightseeing. They also recommended some great restaurants in the area and helped us figure out how to use public transportation to get to our next destination. Highly, highly, highly recommend, if you’re in Portugal, this is a must-see!

Fun and educational - My husband and I are really glad we did this. We both love history, and this tour was not only educational but was led by archeologists who study the site. Their explanations were clear and easy to understand, and they were careful to stress what they actually knew vs what was educated guesswork and theories. They were also very patient with our group's questions (even the Ancient Aliens guy who referred to the inhabitants as "the Neolithics"). And best of all, they told us it would be too hot for the afternoon tour and if we switched to the morning tour, they'd pick us up at the bus station. Really enjoyed!

We are so glad to have seen the Cromlech with Archaeologists! - Thank you Bianca and Gonçalo! Esther and I had such a great time seeing the Menir and Cromlech of Alemendres today! For those looking for a great tour to these sites, this one will be hard to beat! Bianca and Gonçalo are not just well educated experts, but, but are clearly passionate about the significance and preservation of these artifacts. It is such a rare treat for us to be able to experience a prehistoric site like this one ,both in its complexity as well as its level of preservation. Knowing Bianca and Gonçalo are introducing these wonders with a thoughtful and measured approach means that future generations will be able to experience these places and wonder, like us, just what it was our ancestors were up too?
