The path features small wooden bridges, ancient water mills, and breathtaking viewpoints. The hike spans approximately 5 kilometers. This area is unique in Crete because water flows through the gorge even in summer. On a hot summer day, the gorge remains ideal for hiking due to the shade it offers along most of the trail. It’s truly an unforgettable experience.
