Highly recommend it - This was our first time visiting Alaska. I had a memorable experience on this tour. We saw the aurora in different locations, and the team was flexible and worked great with us despite our schedule change. The guide was knowledgeable about the northern lights and the region, which made the experience even better. The entire trip was well-organized, and we left with unforgettable memories. Highly recommend this tour!

Joy and David were our... - Joy and David were our photographer and navigators. Even though the conditions were not the best due to being partly cloudy David was really knowledgeable and finding the lights even with all the clouds and Joy kept us comfortable throughout the event. They both did their best to capture great pictures despite unfavorable conditions. Would recommend!

Amazing Experience!!!! - Chasing northern lights was outstanding. They know how to chase the lights. They are informative. The guides take photos for free. They do keep us warm in the vehicle as best they can. Even though the weather forecast was mostly cloudy, they found clearing sky and waited for a while so that we would see the better lights. They were so kind and gave us more detail information how the lights go. They sent beautiful photos under the lights, which was included. No extra charge. in the tour! Super kind, great tour guides! Will definitely book again! Thank you!!

David was a nice polite... - David was a nice polite photographer and our van driver. Only me and my wife were in the SUV so we got plenty of time for photographers and we were really lucky to just see the Aurora right out of the gate in the first location he took us to. We decided to come back soon since we'd already gotten a glimpse of the lights throughout and we were really tired. But lucky for us we got an even brighter display of the lights on our way back and David was quick to pull over and capture them some more for us

Thank you for your wonderful guidance. - The dog-drawn sled was so impressive. In particular, I was very satisfied with the guides' active explanations and guidance. I want to introduce it to other friends, and I want to come back again with my relatives next time.

Great tour!!! Highly recommend! - Alaska Journey Tour in Fairbanks, Alaska is the best!!! They know all the great spots and really know how to chase the lights! We know that the weather plays a big part in if we can see them and truly up to Mother Nature. We know that it’s not the guides fault if the weather isn’t good but we were willing to take the chance to try and experience the beautiful northern lights. Luckily the weather was great for us and we got to experience breath taking Aurora lights! Was worth every penny and I can not recommend this tour enough! We got awesome pictures with the lights, which was included in the tour! Super kind, great tour guides! Will definitely book again! Thank you!!

Disappointing experience - Unfortunately, our experience wasn't great. The first stop was too close to the airport, with bright lights disrupting the view. Throughout the tour, our guide seemed more focused on taking photos than letting us enjoy the moment. We were trying to take in the lights, but he kept pushing us to pose for pictures. We ended up spending more time driving than actually watching the lights, and the whole tour only lasted two hours. When we finally reached the last stop, the lights were amazing, but after taking several photos, the guide said it was time to leave, even though the lights were still vibrant. For the price, this tour didn’t offer the experience we were hoping for. If you really want to soak in the lights and take your time, this isn’t the right tour for you.

Do not fall for this gimmick. NOT worth it at all! - This is such a SCAM because a weather dependent event like this should not have a no refund / no rescheduling policy. We went to a number of such events and if weather isn’t ideal, the tour would be cancelled. We weren’t notified of this policy until AFTER the cutoff which is probably INTENTIONAL. The tour would not take you out to the mountains or the next town even if there’s constant cloud cover. The stops we made aren’t special and we already know all of them! Worst of all, the few pics we were able to shoot is WORSE than the ones I took with my iPhone 15! They are NOTHING like the ones they advertised! See for yourself! Left picture is taken by the tour and right is taken with my phone! A huge waste of 1100+

Would NOT even recommend to my worst enemies! - I would NOT recommend this even to my worst enemy. The company didn’t say anything about “No refunds or cancellations” in the event of bad weather. This is a first! I have never encountered a weather dependent tour that still charge you or force you to go in bad weather. Napa Valley hot air balloons and the fishing trip in Bahamas were all promptly canceled and refunded when weather wasn’t ideal. Why this company thinks it’s right to charge $1,000+ for almost nothing? The tour DOES NOT take you too far away from the town and there’s NO magic spots. They went to the SAME spots that I already know. They won’t take you up the mountain either. The pics are just slightly better than my iPhone pictures. Do yourself a favor and buy an SLR camera if you have money to burn. Honestly just use your phone and download a long exposure camera app. Save yourself $1,000!
