Brilliant experience to get the most out of Falmouth - We nearly didn’t book this because, as someone with family connections to Falmouth and lots of memories here, I wasn’t sure I wanted to do a “tourist” tour… but I’m so glad we did. Will was brilliant - knowledgeable, engaging, funny, and clearly passionate about Falmouth’s history. Even though I thought I knew the town pretty well, we discovered hidden corners, fascinating stories, and local history I’d never come across before - from Joseph Antonio Emidy to forgotten graveyards and little details tucked away in streets I used to walk past without a second thought. It felt much more like being shown around by a passionate local storyteller than being on a tour. The perfect mix of history, humour, storytelling, and genuine hidden gems. Whether you’re visiting Falmouth for the first time or think you already know it well, do this tour - you’ll see the town through completely different eyes. Highly recommended.

Fab tour with great personality - I was a bit astonished to find that the guide was an American. Bobby has lived locally for a number of years and thoroughly immersed himself in Cornish culture & history. Extremely personable and responsive to questions & opinions as he was, I was lucky to be the only customer, so we had a lot of 1:1 interaction. Highly recommended tour, at least with this guide.

A very historic walk - Our guide was in a town crier costume, it added some appeal. Downside was his microphone didn't work and he had to speak loud enough for us to hear. He was very knowledgeable and took us all through the streets of Falmouth.

Falmouth and Sea Shanties - The historic walk through Falmouth with Will was absolutely wonderful. He was full of information dating back to the beginning of Falmouth and all the way to the decline in the late 1880s. He also played wonderful shanties on his accordeon to get us into the spirit of the times. A tour worth taking if you have only a little time to spend in Falmouth. Thanks Will!!! Antonia and John

Thank you Will! We hope your wedding goes great! - Falmouth is such a wonderful port. I am so impressed by the people who support guides who I understand do this on a volunteer basis. They were so willing to answer questions. Will was our tour guide for the tour and he played the accordion! It was really something special. We went up and down some of the hills but not too many. It was an extremely entertaining educational tour and we really enjoyed our time here.
