An Unforgettable Tour of Varosha – A Must-Do Excursion - We recently went on a well-organized trip around Varosha on a red open-top bus, and it was absolutely fantastic! Clive, the driver, and Hayley, our guide, were the perfect hosts—friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging throughout the tour.
The history of Varosha was explained in great detail, offering a fascinating look at the area’s past. We appreciated how informative and insightful the commentary was, shedding light on the significance of the 'ghost town.'
We were guided on when and where to take photographs, as it is forbidden in some areas for security reasons. They also mentioned that we could rent scooters, bikes, or even golf buggies with a guide, which was a nice touch. We opted for bikes, and we're so glad we did! The former resort is vast, and cycling around it allowed us to see much more than if we'd walked, making the experience even more memorable.
All in all, this was one of the best excursions we’ve ever been on. If you're considering a visit to Varosha, this tour is definitely worth it!

A great day out! - A brilliant, very reasonable priced day out on an open top bus.
The driver John and guide Paul were superb, very knowledgeable and extremely entertaining.
We had a stop in Famagusta for a couple of hours and then on to the beach for a while. Even managed a dip in the sea.
It was an interesting experience, very surreal in places.
I can recommend a visit to learn the history and see the remains of a beautiful resort.
We recommend to several people in our hotel as we really enjoyed the day.

Varosha Experience - Just got back from the Varosha Experience bus tour with Dave &Clive. This was a lovely tour from start to finish. Very proffesional through out. Explained alot of history & made this sad place very interesting. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole day. Well worth the money paid 👌 thankyou

Great trip… - Have visited Cyprus a few times and always wanted to visit varosha, but now having been I never want to go back as what happened here is so sad!
The trip Itself was great Paul and Clive were our hosts, they were fantastic, very funny and friendly. From pick up to drop off was about 5hrs.

Fascinating tour - Really interesting trip. Fascinating to see the deserted and damaged town. There is a lovely beach, with sand access to the sea and plenty of time to have a dip.
Nice couple of cafes, although mainly drinks and snacks rather than anything more substantial.
Hayley was a great guide and Clive a happy driver.
Long day from Ayia Napa as there are a lot of pick ups in Protaras. We were picked up at 8 40am and not dropped back until 3.30pm.

An excellent trip that I would definitely recommend! - An excellent day from start to finish. Booking was made via sending a WhatsApp. Response and confirmation was very quick. Bus arrived on time. The driver and tour guide were both excellent and knowledgeable. Varosha was eerie and the whole situation now and then is tragic. Remember that these were peoples homes, businesses and livelihoods. It’s hard to imagine how things can be resolved but I hope one day they will be. An experience that will live with me for a long time. Would definitely recommend you book this trip!

Wasn’t aware how long it... - Wasn’t aware how long it took to get there plus it wasn’t until well into the journey that it was made evident card only payment and no cash accepted! Also very little choice of places to eat
