Samarkand or Dushanbe – Artuch Alpinist Camp – Lake Chukurak (2455 m)
Chukurak Lake - Guests will meet the Uzbek driver in the hotel lobby for a transfer to the Tajikistan border (40km; 1h). After crossing the border on foot, they will be greeted by the Tajik team. A private vehicle will then transport them through the picturesque Tajik countryside to the Artuch Alpinist Camp (80 km; ~3 hours), with a stop for lunch with a local family. Upon arrival, a warm home-style welcome lunch featuring local specialties and a trek briefing will be provided. Post-lunch, the journey continues to the camp. An easy acclimatization hike (2km, 1–2h) to Lake Chukurak follows, passing through lush alpine meadows and traditional shepherd settlements. Visitors will experience genuine nomadic hospitality by sampling stone-baked milk bread and fresh dairy products at a local shepherd’s yurt. The camp will be set up by the lakeside, with an optional evening stroll or a brief introduction to Tajik mountain traditions around a campfire. Overnight stay will be in tents by the lake.

Lake Chukurak – Kulikalon Lakes – Bibidzhanat Lake (2800 m)
Bibidzhanat – Alaudin Pass (3860 m) – Alaudin Lake
Alauddin Lakes - After a hearty breakfast, guests will embark on the trek’s most challenging day. The steep ascent to Alaudin Pass (3860m) will be undertaken with the assistance of pack donkeys and a guide. Spectacular views of Dushaha Lake, the Kulikalon lakes basin, and the majestic snow-capped peaks of Bodhona (5138m), Chapdara (5050m), Zamok (5070m), and Kaznok (4200m) will be enjoyed. A scenic lunch will be taken at the summit. The descent will follow a winding path to the stunning turquoise waters of Alaudin Lake, known as the jewel of the Fann Mountains. Upon arrival, guests can relax and swim in the lake or join an optional photo walk. A hearty group dinner will be served under the stars, with opportunities for stargazing or sharing stories by the lakeshore. Overnight stay will be in tents by Alaudin Lake.

Alaudin Lake – Samarkand or Dushanbe
Samarkand - Guests will rise early to witness the sunrise over Alaudin Lake, with an optional short hike or lakeside photography session. After breakfast, the camp will be broken down, and the return journey by private vehicle will commence. A stop at a local village for a farewell lunch will allow guests to sample traditional Tajik dishes and bid farewell to the support crew. The transfer will continue to Samarkand or onward to Dushanbe, with an estimated arrival in the afternoon. The tour concludes with cherished memories of the Fann Mountains.
