Journey to Bahariya Oasis and Explore the White and Black Desert
Bahariya Oasis Guide - An archaeologist tour guide will meet the group at the hotel to accompany them to Bahariya Oasis, located approximately 360 km west of Cairo. There will be a brief stop at a rest house midway for refreshments and drinks before continuing to Bahariya for lunch. The journey takes about 4 hours.
Bahariya Oasis Guide - The tour guide will lead the group to explore the Black Desert and the natural hot spring of El Haize (St. George Oasis). Visitors will also see the quartz crystals at Crystal Mountain and the unique rock formations in the Valley of Agabat. This tour lasts around 4 hours.
Farafra - The tour guide will accompany the group to the White Desert National Park, renowned as Egypt’s most famous desert destination. It boasts the largest collection of unusual yet stunning wind-sculpted rocks resembling giant mushrooms, unmatched by any other desert worldwide.
White Desert - Guests will either camp in the White Desert or stay overnight at the Farafra Oasis Hotel, depending on availability.
Explore Bahariya Oasis and Return to Cairo
English Mountain Bahariya Oasis - Breakfast will be served at the campsite before heading to Bahariya Oasis to visit The Valley of the Golden Mummies, which dates back to the Greco-Roman era.
Bahariya Oasis - The tour guide will lead the group to the ruins of ‘The Temple of Alexander the Great’. It is believed that Alexander the Great visited Bahariya on his return from the Oracle of Amon at Siwa Oasis. Visitors will also have the opportunity to climb the Black Mountain before enjoying lunch at Bahariya Oasis.
Cairo - The tour guide will accompany the group back to Cairo.
