A Journey Through Time and Sand

As a wildlife photographer with a penchant for adventure, I have traversed the African continent, capturing the essence of its untamed beauty. Yet, the allure of the Egyptian desert, with its promise of starlit skies and ancient whispers, beckoned me to embark on a new journey. The Desert Stargazing experience promised an immersion into the heart of the White Desert, a place where time seems to stand still, and nature’s artistry is on full display.

Our journey began in Cairo, where the bustling cityscape gradually gave way to the serene expanse of the Bahariya Oasis. The transition from urban chaos to desert tranquility was a reminder of nature’s ability to soothe the soul. As we switched to a safari car, the anticipation of the adventure ahead was palpable. Our Bedouin guide, a custodian of the desert’s secrets, led us through the Black Desert, where volcanic remnants painted the landscape in hues of black and gold.

The journey through the Aqabat area, with its limestone hills and surreal rock formations, was a testament to the desert’s ever-changing canvas.
