Upon reaching the expansive lagoon, the boat will stop, allowing everyone to admire the sunset’s hues mirrored on the water. This tranquil and picturesque conclusion to the day is ideal for unwinding and capturing photos before heading back to Faro.

The sunset at Ria Formosa showcases a stunning palette of reds, oranges, and purples, making it a highlight of the day. The adventure begins in Faro at 4:45 PM with a ferry ride to Ilha Deserta, traversing the main channel of Ria Formosa Natural Park, where birds can be seen feeding over the saltmarshes. Upon reaching Ilha Deserta, visitors have 30 minutes of leisure time to stroll along the beach, unwind, enjoy a drink at Restaurant Estaminé, or take a swim. The return journey coincides with the sunset, using either the ferry or speedboat, depending on the season and sunset time. After capturing the moment in photos, the group returns to Faro.
