Istanbul historical tour - We met up with Ezgi at our hotel. We went to the historical area in an A/C vehicle and then we hit the ground to cover 4 places. Because it was a Friday, the Blue Mosque was closed until 2pm, so Ezgi arranged for us to visit the Grand Bazaar first, which is just amazing! From there we went to the Hagia Sophia. Ezgi is very knowledgeable about the history of all the places we visited and made sure to show us where to take the best pics. From there we went to Topkaki Palace, amazing! And we had some time there to explore. Grabbed some lunch and onto The Blue Mosque, which bus always free to enter and then the Ancient Hippodrome. It was a great experience and Ezgi was fantastic. Highly recommend finding her through Curiotravel.com

100% recommended. - Complete and comprehensive experience. Ideal if you have little time to see the city because you do all the essentials and get the juice in a day. Better still if you have a good guide that guarantees you a good time.

One of the best tours ever! - This was the second time I did this tour. It is a full day of seeing all the must-see sites with a knowledgeable guide. There is a lot of walking (15,000 steps)- hills, steps etc., so it’s active and long. The Bosphorus Sunset cruise is the icing on the day. Don’t hesitate to take this tour if you have limited time in Istanbul.

Fun in Istanbul - The guide was exceptional and very informative. There was 11 of us on the tour and he kept all of us engaged. The tour operator needs to remember to have the headsets available at the beginning of the tour. Otherwise, would highly recommend.

It’s sporty but it’s great to have in one day the visits and essential knowledge - Great!!! I advise! Take good shoes, we walk a lot but we visit all the emblematic places, Extra Guide. And with him we cut all the queues. Nice cruise on a comfortable boat.

All in One Day Tour Istanbul - Our guide was knowledgeable and very personable. She explained the history of the monuments and other sites in great detail and helped guide us to the areas of interest at each. Lunch was provided at a very nice rooftop restaurant. We didn't go to the grand bazaar since we had already visited it the day before. It was a lot of walking but a very good tour.

Tour guide exceptional but heed warning! - Our tour guide was Ahmet and he was exceptional. Great communication ahead of pick up and all ran smoothly. Ahmet’s knowledge is incredible and we learned so much. It was an intimate group, just the guide along with me and my husband. The tour price is expensive but it is worth it. There were many entrance fees not included, such as Hagir Sofia and Topkapi Palace which puts an extra 75 Euros on top per person. Lunch was on a rooftop restaurant overlooking the sea and was good quality. The reason for not giving full stars is nothing to do with Ahmet and more to do with arrangements between the tour company and local traders. We were taken to a tea, spice and Turkish delight store. It was quite overwhelming with different teas and tastes bombarding us. The chap mentioned that the large boxes of Baklava and Turkish Delight was 12 Euros. He was also offering little bags of tea. We bought two small bags of tea, two large boxes, one of Baklava and one Turkish Delight. A tiny pot of Eucalyptus and some Frankincense oil. I paid by card and could not see the cost. £330 was deducted from my card!! I accept this was my fault, but I do not want others to fall for this. Me and my husband ended up arguing about it and it did put a dampener on what would otherwise have been a wonderful experience. The sunset cruise was amazing, snacks were nice and light. The cruise guide was knowledgeable and funny also and seeing the outline of Istanbul against the sunset was memorable. I highly recommend this tour, but recommend refusing the trips to stores and if you do go, enjoy tasting the teas and sweet treats but don’t allow yourself to get ripped off.
