Awesome tour along side Tour guide Hilal - I had the most incredible experience on my private Istanbul tour, and that’s all thanks to Hilal! She was absolutely amazing — incredibly knowledgeable about the rich history of the Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and Topkapi Palace. Every story and detail she shared brought these iconic landmarks to life.
What really stood out was her patience, warmth, and intelligence. She answered every question with such depth and clarity, and her pleasant demeanor made the tour feel relaxed yet insightful. I couldn’t have asked for a better guide.

Our tour guide Serkan was... - Our tour guide Serkan was fantastic. He was flexible and arranged for us to see sights that were not on the itinerary. He was knowledgeable, friendly and explained the history of each site we visited. We would highly recommend him to anyone wanting an in-depth understanding of this incredible city.

Excellent tour, great history, flexible schedule - Excellent experience. As a private tour they accommodate your needs and schedule. We wanted to spend more time at certain spots, stop for drinks and refreshments, and end with lunch - all needs were met.

Peri is a Turkish Delight! - I picked this tour for a group of 8 of us and we had the pleasure of exploring Istanbul's old city with Peri. She was exceptional from the moment she and the driver arrived to pick us up in an air conditioned Sprinter van at our hotel.
From touring the Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and everything in between Peri provided context, knowledge, and a motherly nurture that enhanced our experience. We learned, we laughed, and we looked. We looked at many sights and and sounds of where the Sultans lived and what was once the epicenter of Ottoman Empire.
We dined at a Turkish restaurant called Galeyan that was a lovely experience and appetizing. The food was delicious and our group enjoyed it.
The Grand Bazaar was intense. There is an overstimulation of shops, cigarette smoke, and sounds. No matter how disciplined I thought that I would be, I ended up buying a lot of tea. More tea than I'll ever need, but it was for the overall experience.
I thank Peri on behalf of my group and as a travel advisor I feel more than comfortable referring clients to her and Ayhan Akkikic the tour operator. He was first class in communication and you can now add me to the chorus of 5 star reviews.

Wonderful customized city tour of Istanbul - Our guide (Kenan) was terrific! We enjoyed learning about Istanbul from him. He was extremely knowledgeable, did a great job helping us to learn some basic Turkish words, and made various aspects of the city come alive for us. Touring with Kenan was the perfect way to start our trip!

Perfect guide through history - What an unforgettable day! Our guide Perry quickly became a family member as she took me and my 12yo through the major sights of Istanbul. You don’t appreciate the majesty and influence of the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires until you see these places for yourself. Perry shared marvelous stories from history, current events, and what life is like for a local. If I had to suggest any tweak, it might be to try for a half day, because we were pretty exhausted by the time we made it to the Grand Bazaar.
