Finding My Greek Ancestors in Turkey. A profound experience. - My grandparents were Greeks from Alatsata. I wanted to understand what their life was like in the early 20th Century. Ibrahim and Sinan arranged a special program for me to walk in my grandparents footsteps in Asia Minor.
There is so much Greek history in Turkey. I’d never have found the churches without Sinan.
It was very well organised. I asked to stay in traditional Greek homes and to eat local food. Our driver Murat was excellent and the vehicle was safe and very comfortable.
It has been a trip of a lifetime for my family and me.
Thankyou for everything Ibrahim and Sinan. It was a profound experience for me. Forever grateful.

Exceptional Service From Start to Finish - Ibrahim Can Başyeşil with Turkland Travel provided us with an outstanding experience of Turkey. We were able to visit Istanbul, Capadocia and Izmir on an 8 day adventure that went off seamlessly. He arranged all of our internal flights, hotel accommodations and guided tours and each experience was top rate and perfectly planned. We cannot recommend Ibrahim and Turkland Travel enough. In fact, we’ve already passed along his information to friends planning future travel. Top notch service and attention to detail.

Amazing Family time in Istanbul - This was our first time visiting Istanbul. We had an amazing driver Atay. He pick us up at the airport and took us to the hotel. He wa funny. We don't speak Turkish and he did not speak any English but using amazing technology He was able to communicate with us. Told us about the city, traffic and interesting information about the city He calls home. The hotel was amazingly located and very close to the Blue Mosque. On arrival we met Ibrahim. He gave us information on the tour and when to expect out tour guide. Our tour guide Ulaș show us the city and all the amazing history of Istanbul in 3 days. My husband, being History major was fascinated. We walk everywhere, ate amazing food, had amazing time in both Europe and Asia continents 😀. We hope to be back to see other parts of beautiful Turkey.

Nice and friendly - We were happy with the tour and our guide Onur. He has been welcoming and well spoken. We have learnt heaps of new facts about the culture of Türkiye and life in Istanbul, as well as enjoyed finding out about Sultan’s private life in Topkapi Palace. We also discovered curious details of architecture and art while we were visiting the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. It was exciting to know more about the history of Türkiye while we were visiting Hippodrome and going on our boat trip across the Bosphorus Strait. Also we got some handy tips on how to navigate through Istanbul and places like Grand Bazaar and Spice Market, and got a few hacks on some popular places to eat.
We felt relaxed and comfortable and would recommend this touring experience.

Excellent 10 Day Guided Journey - We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day guided adventure through Türkiye starting in the stunning Antalya, Pamukkale thermal pools, Gallipoli and Istanbul. Our drivers and guides were knowledgeable and friendly and the trip went smoothly and efficiently. I highly recommend Ibrahim and his team if you are looking for a seamless small group guided tour of Istanbul or through Türkiye. This was a memorable experience. Walking the trails of Gallipoli with two guides was the highlight.

A full tour, in a day. No waiting or lines, just a great time - If you want to make the best of your time in Istanbul, this is the tour for you. Boris was our guide and he was great, guiding us in Spanish for everyone’s comfort. He was very attentive and made sure we were all engaged. We never waited in line and we saw the major attractions. Thanks for a great time!
