A wonderful way to see the main sites - We had a wonderful experience with our guide, Rukiye! She shared so much insight into the history and culture of Istanbul. It’s clear she’s passionate about this city! In addition to the main attractions, she took us to see Turkish rug making and Iznik tile work. The entire experience was a great way to start our time in Istanbul.

Highly recommended - Our guide Cicek Hekimgil. From our hotel he took us to all the places the tour mentions. We didn't line up to get into the places. He spoke perfect Spanish and had a very helpful and friendly attitude with all my family. He had a lot of patience for us. He took all the pictures we wanted, he explained the whole history of the places very well. He was never rushing us or measuring time. What it would have taken us more than two days to know on our own, we knew in 7 hours and very well explained. Fully recommended.

Great way to see the sights - We really enjoyed our one-day tour with Çiçek. With Eid coming up, we wanted to see as much as we could in one day. She knew the timing and schedules for all the sites so that we could see each site at its best. And the guides can skip lines. Not to mention that they know the best spots to get pictures! She steered us to a wonderful place to get a snack when we were hungry and gave us recommendations for what will be open during Eid. Yes, she did take us to a carpet shop (I get the impression this is what the tourist companies do) but it was interesting and we didn’t feel any pressure to buy. In fact this store was very classy and if we’d known we’d be going to Istanbul I might have measured an area in my house because their carpets were gorgeous. I highly recommend her as a guide if you come.

This tour ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. - Honestly, we loved this experience. Our guide was super friendly and easy to talk to, and you could tell he really knew his stuff. It never felt like a boring, scripted tour, he was constantly sharing interesting stories, not just about the landmarks but also about everyday life in the city.
We visited some amazing places like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, the Basilica Cistern, and the Grand Bazaar. Seeing all of that is already impressive, but it’s a whole different experience when someone explains it in a fun and engaging way.
We also stopped by some local shops, which we really enjoyed. It was cool to see traditional Turkish crafts like ceramics and carpets up close, and even learn a bit about how they’re made. Everything looked beautiful and very authentic.
Overall, it was such a great experience, fun, interesting, and super informative without feeling overwhelming. We’d definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Istanbul.

During the tour we visited some of Istanbul’s most famous landmarks, including the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, the Basilica Cistern, and the Grand Bazaar. He was extremely knowledgeable about history and shared many interesting stories, not only about the monuments but also about daily life in Istanbul.
We also had the opportunity to visit some beautiful local shops and learn more about traditional Turkish art and craftsmanship, such as ceramics and carpets. Everything looked amazing, and it was very interesting to see how these handmade products are made.
Overall, it was a wonderful and very informative experience. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Istanbul.
