Great experience - The best guide ever and the best experience if you want to learn about Istanbul history, why the buildings look like they look. You also discove hidden gems that you would not find otherwise.

Brilliant tour with Tarik a must do in istanbul - There are a couple of number 27s on the street, correct one is for the flats 27-29 over the entrance

Fun - A lot of history, our guide was great. Segway are easy to learn. But it was very cold, I should have bundled up.

Watch your balance - I ended up having a private tour since I was the only one registered for that date and time, which was a nice bonus. It was also my first time ever riding a Segway. Toward the end of the tour, I admittedly got into my own head about balancing, which made it more challenging for me. So a rule of thumb: if you’re not comfortable with balance-based activities or tend to overthink them, this might not be the best fit. The route includes several uphill and downhill inclines, as well as some uneven terrain. It definitely adds character and fun to the experience, but it does require steady balance and confidence. That said, the guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. He shared interesting insights at each stop and provided great historical background about the buildings and locations we visited. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone who enjoys active experiences, has good balance, or likes activities similar to high-wire or tightrope-style challenges. It’s a unique and memorable way to explore the area!

We had a thrilling time... - We had a thrilling time flying through the city. Our guide Tarik gave us an amazing overview of Istanbul, past and present and tons of historical information. We learned a lot and had so much fun.

Epic Ottoman Jaunt - Absolutely amazing tour. A group were supposed to join us but dropped out but Tariq still took me around on my own. As a bit of a history and military geek, his knowledge and detail of the Ottoman Empire, Roman and Byzantium influences was extremely impressive. The tour flew by and is definitely one of the most enjoyable guided tours I’ve had!

The best way to see Istanbul away from the tourists - My wife and I visited all of the usual Istanbul sites, but our segway tour with Tarik was the best 3 hours we have spent in Istanbul. Tarik has an encyclopedic knowledge of Ottoman and Turkish history. He took us to parts of the city most tourists will never see. We went to the highest point in the city for breathtaking views. We visited mosques only locals go to. We wandered through street bazaars crowded with shoppers and did so safely because the segways are easy to control and can move quickly or at a slow walking pace. Be prepared to travel on streets with cars but don't be worried as Istanbul traffic moves slowly if at all. Riding the segways was fun but Tarik was the key to this being our best day in Istanbul.
