Absolutely would recommend - It was super fun! We went to the Asian part of Istanbul and we walked through a few streets (beautiful) and we ended up at the workshop. The guidance was great, the coffee and tea were great! We ended up doing a mozaïek workshop, and now we have two cute lamps. I would definitely recommend this workshop!

Unforgettable experience with Beyza and Eda - My wife and I had a truly memorable experience creating our first ever stained glass art piece and this team deserves the highest praise. First Beyza's communication on Viator and WhatsApp was very prompt and helpful, followed by a warm welcome and translation expertise on the day itself. The workshop takes place in a characterful cafe located in a cool part of town. This means you get generous refreshments throughout the workshop as well as multiple other workshops on offer in the same space. My wife and I were the only participants there on the day so we received full attention and instruction from the incredibly talented and wonderful Eda. She was patient, funny, supportive, encouraging and very skilled at remedying our mistakes! It was a truly wonderful experience that provided us with a unique piece of self-made creativity. We cannot recommend this experience and both Beyza and Eda enough for looking after us so well!

A beautiful afternoon - We spent the afternoon here with the fabulous Eda painting stained glass. The surroundings are lovely, free tea and coffee and such a wonderful teacher who is both kind and inspiring. We absolutely loved it x

Incredible fun workshop, good value - We had the most amazing time at this workshop - it was one of our favourite activites of our Istanbul trip! Our teacher, Eda, was incredibly skillful and patient, and helped us create amazing designs. Everyone who works there is extremely friendly and made us feel at home! We were also supplied with non stop fresh tea and coffee for the entire 3 hours! Would highly recommend this workshop.

Great art experience! - Eda was a great teacher and was very helpful while I learned this new art form. She was patient and gave me lots of tips. She also had the cutest kitten and we had a great time talking about our lives as well. The studio has a cafe attached and you can have refreshments while doing art. One thing to note is that the art studio is actually in Uskudar. You can either meet in Fatih and travel to the studio together (30 minutes) or meet directly at the art studio.

Perfect way to spend an afternoon - It was a perfect experience and very nice company. Really liked the experience. Good value for money. The staff was very nice, and spoke perfect English. It took about 2,5 hours and you could drink all the tea and coffee that you would like. Perfect way to spend the afternoon, will recommend everyone to take a cosy afternoon to make some beautiful mosiac glass panes.

Eda was perfect but there's room for improvement with the overall experience - We were the only two in our session so we had Eda's full attention. She took the time to explain and show us how to create our designs and even though she thought her English wasn't good, she needn't have worried as we understood her perfectly. Our works of art came out great and she made sure that we were always stocked up on tea and cookies. Gladly would take her class again. Areas that need to improve are communication as it was a bit chaotic. We were contacted the day before to ask whether we wanted to meet at the studio or meet at an agreed location. The location listed on the advert (Hafiz Mustafa 1864) was 1 min from where we were staying so we opted for this option and were advised that we would be met at 11.30am the next day (confirmation sent 2345 the day before). On the day of the activity at about 1105 we were called and told that classes were overrunning and they were busy so we'd need to make our own way there (it's a metro ride away but it's the principle and the very late notice). Instructions were sent and we made our way to the studio only for the class to start at 12.25/12.30 rather than the 12.00 start time advertised (despite the advert stating to be 5 mins early). As mentioned above Eda was great and we have zero complaints about her. She would get 5 stars and this review score of 4 is in no way a reflection of her. Once we had finished our art it needed 45 mins to dry and instead of being able to stay where we were, it felt a bit rushed to ask us to sit in the garden area (which is unpleasant as people smoke there) so another class (not Eda's ) could start. We'd barely finished and she'd just gone to take our art to dry when we were asked to move. On the balance would probably visit the venue / workshop again but the confused communication, late notice and urgency to vacate our workspace felt quite impersonal; business or not. A suggestion would be to just advise customers to make their way to the venue and remove the offer of meeting in Sirkeci (based on our experience). Given that this review is about the experience on a whole, I'm taking a star off.
