• Tianjin - Begin the tour from the hotel in Tianjin and make your way to the Tianjin railway station independently. The private tour guide will meet you at the Beijing railway station arrival exit, holding a sign with your name.
• Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - Enter through the Tiananmen Gate and proceed to the Forbidden City, the largest Imperial Palace in the world. It boasts 9,999.5 rooms and over 600 years of history. A total of 24 Chinese emperors resided and governed from this location, spanning from the Ming dynasty to the Qing dynasty. It’s highly recommended to spend a few hours exploring the highlights of the Forbidden City.

Note: The Forbidden City is closed every Monday, and the Summer Palace will be visited instead.

• Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - In the morning, make your way to the train station and take the bullet train to Beijing (a prepaid train ticket for a 30-minute ride). The tour guide and a private car with a driver will greet you at the Beijing train station arrival exit.

The first stop is Tiananmen Square, the largest city center square in the world. Along the renowned Chang’an Street, you will see The Great Hall of the People and The National Museum (formerly known as the Chinese History and Revolution Museum). Additionally, at the center of the square is Chairman Mao’s Mausoleum.

• Summer Palace (Yiheyuan) - On Mondays, the Summer Palace will be visited instead.

The Summer Palace is one of China’s largest imperial gardens. Originally a royal garden and temporary residence for Qing Dynasty emperors, it was initially the Garden of Clear Ripples (Qingyiyuan) established in 1750 and was destroyed by British and French allied forces in 1860.

• Temple of Heaven - During lunchtime, the tour guide will take you to a local restaurant for an authentic meal. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Heaven, where past emperors worshipped the God of Heaven. It’s fascinating to watch many Chinese elders dancing, singing, or practicing Taiji in the square.
  After the day tour, the driver and tour guide will return you to the train station to catch the train back to Tianjin.
