Cannot recommend enough - Cannot recommend enough. Wonderful experience with knowledgeable and friendly Ricardo. Safe and fun for children as long as they are good swimmers. Professional tour! Went to secluded beach surrounded by caves. Magical moment. Could get on his boat whenever tired of swimming/kayaking. Don't hesitate and book

Unforgettable experience for the whole family! Thank you! - You drive a boat and the canoes in tow for a time along the coast. The route back to the beach is then taken by canoes. Our children are 13 and could handle the canoe route well in combination with one adult each. If you are not so sporty, you can also change trains during a stopover at a beach and return by boat, which accompanies the group all the time. Our guide was very funny, but also prudent on the tour, explicitly pointing out more “dangerous” passages and giving tips for canoeing. As a biologist, he knew a lot of interesting things to say about the sea and its inhabitants. During a snorkel stop on a beach, he even dived up an octopus and a sea urchin for the children, which we were then allowed to gently touch. Thank you! Great experience, absolutely make!:)

Amazing adventure! - We had a fantastic few hours! On the boat ride out to the start there was a pod of bottlenose dolphins feeding and they played alongside the boat. We then had a great paddle along the coast in and out of caves, with explanations about the rock falls and marine life. We stopped on a beach and Ricardo caught a sea urchin and octopus for us to see and hold with explanations about them. The sea was quite choppy at times and we were given the option of paddling back to the start point or hopping on the boat back. You can take a small bag with you which can be put in a dry bag, and we perhaps would have brought water, suncream, towel and snacks for the beach stop had we realized ahead of time. Instead we enjoyed looking in rock pools and shells.

Great experience - The trip fantastic. We went into loads of different caves. We also saw a little of sea life including sea urchins, octopus and sea cucumber. The crew were really friendly and knowledgeable. Would defo recommend and will be back. Took loads of really cool photos too x

Fun, exciting and educational 🫶🏼 - Ricardo is a legend! We were a party of 10 including two young girls aged 6 and 8. Ricardo made sure we were all safe and his knowledge of marine biology was incredible. The kids held starfish, urchins, crabs and a sea cucumber! A great time was had by all. Highly recommend!

He is one of the few local guides with lots of experience. As a marine biologist he showed us sea creatures and told us a lot ab - Ricardo was the best guide we could've imagined for this. We went on a 10km trip and could partly explore the coast on our own

Unforgettable Family Adventure with Algarve Freedom Kayak! - Absolutely fantastic experience with Algarve Freedom Kayak tour! Our guide, Ricardo, made the day truly memorable—he is incredibly knowledgeable about the local marine life, the coastline, and kayak safety. We came with young children, and Ricardo was so patient and encouraging, creating a safe and fun environment for everyone. The highlight for us was Ricardo catching two cuttlefish — an amazing moment we will never forget, especially when they squirted the girls! Paddling to a secluded private bay was breathtaking and gave us a real sense of adventure. Overall, this tour was the perfect balance of learning, discovery, and family fun. Highly recommended for all ages!

Great family fun, scenery and marine life. - Fantastic trip with our lovely guide. There were 12 people and he led us on a great journey , exploring caves and beaches, showing us marine life and the crustaceans, even letting us safely touch some of them. Great boat driver who dived and caught an octopus to show us before letting it go. Very knowledgable and fun interaction with the guests. Beautiful coastline and caves, best way to see it is by kayak. The morning was good as less wind 😀 and low tide. Recommended, and the paddling wasn’t arduous.

Fun trip and memorable experience - This was very informative and we saw so many beautiful views. It was a small group so we could all be involved. The kayaking wasn't too challenging for us since we were towed out to the farthest cave and then paddled back stopping in each cave for a bit and getting out in 2 places. The second beach we were able to snorkel for about 25 minutes on our own. He showed us lots of sea life and let us hold them. It was a great experience
