Fez - Merzouga - Ouarzazate - Marrakech
Fes - Begin the adventure with a 7am pickup from your riad or hotel by one of our multilingual drivers. As you travel into the Middle Atlas mountains, your first stop will be in Ifrane, a town inspired by Swiss architecture, often referred to as Swiss Morocco, established by the French in the 1930s. The second stop is the tranquil Berber town of Azrou, followed by a journey into the cedar forests to observe the friendly Barbary apes in their natural environment.
Next, cross the Atlas mountains, navigating through rapidly changing landscapes and vegetation, until reaching the town of Rissani, known as the gateway to the Sahara. Heading further south, you’ll be captivated by the sight of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, which can reach heights of up to 50 meters and extend eastward towards the Algerian Sahara border. Upon arriving in Merzouga, prepare for a 90-minute sunset camel trek through the shifting dunes to a traditional Berber desert camp. Here, enjoy an unforgettable night with dinner, music, tea around a fire, and stargazing.

Marrakech - The following morning, depart after breakfast to the renowned Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a filming location for many movies such as Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia. It has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1980. Continue the journey to Marrakech via the Tizi N’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains. Conclude the trip with lunch upon reaching Marrakech in the afternoon.
