- Merzouga - Day 2: Fes - Merzouga.
After breakfast, depart from Fes and head to Merzouga, passing through Ifrane to reach the cedar forests of Azrou, home to wild monkeys. This is a great opportunity to capture photos of Morocco’s wilderness. Lunch will be in the small Berber village of Zaida. The journey continues through the Atlas Mountains, enjoying the scenic views of Medilt, to reach the small town of Rich and Erfoud, marking the start of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet. Upon arrival in Merzouga, camels will be ready with a guide to take you into the Erg Chebbi desert for an exciting one-hour ride. Upon reaching the camp, the team will show you to your luxury tent with a private bathroom. Enjoy a cup of tea, then take time for sunset and sandboarding on the dunes near the camp. Dinner and Berber music will follow.
- Dades Gorges - Day 3: Merzouga Desert - Rissani Market - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley.
Wake up early to witness the sunrise over the dunes near the camp. Return to the camp for breakfast, then ride the camels back to Merzouga village. Next, visit Rissani to explore the marketplace (market days: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday). Continue to Erfoud to visit the fossilized marble manufacturers before heading to the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad. An hour later, arrive at the stunning Todra Gorges, a popular spot for climbers due to its beauty and high rock sides. Enjoy free time for lunch in this magnificent location. A short walk through the gorges is highly recommended to fully appreciate the landscape’s beauty. In the afternoon, proceed to Boumalne Dades. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel Ksar Sultan Dades or a similar hotel of the same category.
- Marrakech - Day 4: Dades Valley - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - High Atlas - Marrakech
After breakfast, enjoy one of the best views of the Dades Valley from a strategic lookout in the mountains, where the numerous kasbahs and their unique features can be admired. After several stops along the “One Thousand Kasbahs Road,” the Roses Valley, and the expansive Skoura palm grove, arrive in Ouarzazate to visit the Kasbah of Taourirt, the former residence of the Glaoui or Marrakech pasha. Visit the cinema studio in Ouarzazate, then stop at the ksar (fortified village) of Ait Ben Haddou to explore the famous Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986. This spectacular location has been featured in films such as Gladiator, The Mummy, and The Jewel of the Nile. Enjoy free time for lunch in town. In the afternoon, begin the journey to Marrakech, passing through the Tizi Ntichka mountain pass. Arrive in Marrakech around 6 pm and transfer to your hotel, marking the end of the tour.
