- Meknes - Upon arrival in Meknes, one has a magnificent view of the Medina. The tour begins with a tour of the walls with monumental gates dating from the seventeenth century Berdaïne Bab, Bab Khemis. We continue exploring the city by the stables (Rua), attics (HERI), and Stud. Stop needed at the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail was for a long time the only mosque that non-Muslims could visit in Morocco. It then exits through the famous Bab Mansour El on the vast square Hedim. On the other side of the square, the Museum of Moroccan Art âDar Jamaiâ offers a wide variety of handcrafts, then we head back to fes.

Very nice excursion, friendly and interesting guides - Zaki is an excellent guide that enhances the tour with many anecdotes and stories. For Volubilis, Zaki selected a good guide with knowledge of mythology but little archaeology. However, the visit was informative and interesting. However, for Meknes, the guide chosen by Zaki is excellent. This guide knows the history of his city, the nooks and crannies and the places to photograph. He also knows the history of his people.
3 guides who enjoy and gain to be met for a magnificent excursion.
Too bad that the air conditioning and suspensions of the van are out, at the end of May it is hot in a car...

Very nice day trip - Excellent day trip from Fes. Meknes was a very pleasant suprise. Beautiful fortified city. The visit to Volubilis was also very informative. And our guide for the day, Zaki, is a star! He made our trip pleasant and a lot of fun. Thank you! Krisztina, Martin and Martin Jr.

Rich, beautiful, and culturally vibrant - Everything was perfectly organized and flawlessly executed.
Our driver Zakaria was exceptional, friendly, professional, and incredibly supportive throughout the journey, I especially appreciated his honesty and kindness, due to a misunderstanding on my part, I offered to pay an extra fee, which he kindly declined. He also refused a well deserved tip.
His outstanding service truly elevated the entire experience. Highly recommended!

Great day out - Fascinating trip to Volubilis with a v knowledgeable local guide Yunnis. We picked the wrong day for Meknes (Friday) but the local guide Omar (not Sharif) aka Papa did a wonderful job

Loop from Fez - Beautiful landscape, great driver, guide in Volubilis a bit difficult to understand, guide in Meknes wonderful. Restaurant stop in Meknes reasonable but some food spicier than standard Marrocan cuisine.

Great knowledgeable guides on this perfect day trip - Hassan was a safe driver & Hassan was a fantastic guide. He spoke many languages and made sure everyone heard the important points. I highly recommend him! The guides at Volubilis and Meknès were also very good! I’ve traveled all over the world but these were some of the best guides. My only complaint is that the AC in the van did not work.

Short adventure - Our driver mustafa picked us up from our riad in Fes and dropped us near our riad in Meknes. The car was very comfortable and the whole experience was smooth and enjoyable. We loved this short adventure!

Moulay Idriss and Meknes Volubis Excursion - Great excursion! Our driver Zaki is very friendly and funny. He gave us plenty of explanations in English and French for us. Great guide in Meknes too. I highly recommend!

Nice visit to discover Volubilis and Meknes! - You have to plan the whole day for this visit. We loved volubilis (taking with a guide makes all the difference!), the rest of the day was a little rough but nice anyway! We could see the main attractions, and we would have liked even more time in Meknes, an ancient imperial city worth a visit:) thank you to Mohamed for taking care of us!
Allow 100 dhs for the entrance of Volubilis.

Great - Driss was a Great driver and we loved the Romain ruins. Not at all the fault of the tour, just be aware that if you go to Meknes on a Friday everything in the Medina will be closed. But, the free musiliam and Dar Jame museum were both fabulous. The ruins at Volubilis were the highlight though and we were given enough time to explore them. Thanks.
