Journey from Fez to Merzouga via the Middle Atlas
Ifrane National Park - The adventure begins on the first day with a pick-up from the Riad heading towards Merzouga, traversing the Middle Atlas. This includes stops at Ifrane, the cedar forest of Azrou, and the Middle Atlas mountains. The journey offers a scenic drive through stunning forests, springs, rugged rock formations, Berber villages, and majestic mountains.
Midelt - A lunch break will be taken in Midelt, followed by a continuation to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Ziz Gorges and Palm Oasis. Upon arrival in Merzouga, and depending on the time, there may be a relaxing pause with a cup of Mint Tea at a traditional Kasbah. Then, the camel trekking adventure across the sandy dunes begins. After an hour, the private Berber tent will be reached, where dinner will be served, and the night will be spent.
Merzouga / Todra Gorge / Ouarzazate
Todra Gorge - On the second day, an early rise is planned to enjoy the sunrise, followed by a camel ride back to the driver. The journey continues to Ouarzazate via Rissani, Erfoud, and the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. A stop for lunch and a walk in Todra Gorges is included, then the route proceeds to the Dadès Valley, passing dramatic escarpments. Arrival in Ouarzazate is expected in the afternoon for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
Ait Ben Haddou, High Atlas to Marrakech
Ait Ben Haddou - On the third day of the tour, a visit to the town of Ouarzazate is planned, including the Kasbah of Taourirt and the Atlas Studios movie studios. A stop at Ait Ben Haddou will allow for exploration of the famous Kasbah, followed by a journey through the High Atlas and the Tizi-n-Tichka pass, passing small villages and waterfalls, amidst the ever-changing landscape and colors of these beautiful mountains. Arrival in Marrakech is anticipated in the afternoon, marking the end of the trip.
