Loved the cooking class in Fes, fun & relaxing way to spend 1/2 day in Morocco! - The cooking class in Fes was terrific! I took the class with a friend & we both loved the overall experience. Thoroughly recommend it. Our host Rabab was great, she first took us through the old souk to buy all the fresh ingredients for the cooking class. I found it very interesting going with a local, I really enjoyed the lively atmosphere in the market and being able to ask Rabab questions about some foods I saw in the market (that were new to me) as we went along. The cooking class itself was very well organised & set up in a beautiful courtyard with tiled fountain and orange tree. It was lovely doing the class in such a beautiful, traditional outdoor space. We had a totally hands-on experience of preparing all the Moroccan recipes we made during the class. Our chef Naim taught us well in teamwork with Rabab translating. After a fun morning of cooking, my friend and I sat in the courtyard to eat the salads, tajin dishes and the dessert we’d made in class - it was such a great lunch - everything we’d made was really delicious, actually it tasted extra delicious because it was so freshly made! Since the cooking class I’ve bought a tajin in the market and look forward to now making the dishes at home. I’m so glad I spent a 1/2 day of my holiday time in Morocco doing this cooking class in Fes, it was fun, relaxing, the food we made was delicious and great to learn a new skill.

The first thing to do in Fes - If you plan on visiting the beautiful city of Fes, be sure to do this activity first! The cooking class first took you through the markets and picked out the vegetables and food that was needed for the cooking class. Then, it takes you to the Riad where the class begins. The instructors were so nice, welcoming, and great to talk to. They made the class engaging and fun. And when we were done with making the food, we got to sit down and eat it and it was by far the BEST Moroccan food I had in all of Morocco. We went to plenty of restaurants within the country, but the cooking class with making your own food made the food special and taste wonderful. It truly is. 10/10 experience. I learned so much and truly the best food you will eat. Not a plate left with any food on it at the end! So the next time you visit Fes, come here to this cooking class and learn how to make wonderful Moroccan dishes and eat the best food in the country. It is 100% worth the price.

Great experience attempting Moroccan traditional cuisine - We had a great time preparing local dishes with the help of the chef and friendly translator. The setting was very nice, we cooked everything in the garden then ate our meal outside there. All traditional dishes were made in a vegan version as per our request. We really enjoyed our experience and recommend it to everyone!!

Pleasant and tasty experience - 3 middle-aged madam on tour in Morocco got the chance for a cooking course in Fes. After several intense and contentful days on the go, this quiet afternoon was the right thing. We met with our very sweet and sympathetic guide Rabab in the souken and got purchased div. raw materials for dinner. Then we went to a riad where the food was prepared in the cozy courtyard surrounded by fountains, shady trees and a couple of turtles. An older woman led the cooking (maybe her name was Naima?) and Rabab interpreted along the way. We got made appetizers, Moroccan salad, dessert and 2 tagines, of which the with beef, apricots and sweets was our absolute favorite. Finally, we enjoy the whole food and feel ready to experiment with the beautiful Moroccan cuisine. Can warmly recommend ❤️
