Great tour! - Had a great tour with Mohamed Alami Harrak! He was extremely knowledgeable on Morocco’s history & sites we visited. He picked us up at our Medina Hotel & guided us all over Medina, oldest University, mosques, & tannery. (We visited during Ramadan but that didn’t matter.) You won’t be disappointed if you request him. Only suggestion I’d make is to return to Medina with your partner or friends & with more time to shop. Items are packed into shops & you can find some really cool things for less. (Anyone can direct you out of there if you get lost, if you ask them!). Also clothing shops you can barter for 1/2 of the cost that the larger more profitable shops will charge you. It’s exactly the SAME quality! Have fun!

A great tour and tour guide - A great tour guide who speaks great English. He also speaks Spanish, Portuguese and French to name a few. We had a tour of all of the main sights and also he took us to the Medina. He'll help you get a good price for anything you'd like to buy. Very friendly, professional and knows everything there is to know about Fes. Would definitely recommend you book a tour for your trip to Fes.

A wonderful introduction to magnificent Fez - We spent almost two days exploring Fez with Mohammed. His love for and knowledge of his hometown made for a special visit to this fascinating city. Art, architecture, history, culture, crafts...he knows it all and shares generously. He accommodated our special requests with grace and good humor. Yes, he took us to crafts places where we were offered a chance to buy, but if we didn't want to buy, all we had to do was say, "No, thank you," smile, and remain firm. Guides all over the world make commissions in this way. We would book time with Mohammed again, and happily! Shukran!

Highly recommended tour with a great guide if you have only one day - We only had one day in Fez and weren’t sure if we could see a lot. But thanks to Mr.Rashid and his tour we were to maximize our time and see all the important things in the historic Medina. While most tours online advertised for half day tours, Mr.Rashid spent 7 hours with us in taking us around to all the places without hastening anything. There is no way we could have seen anything without him in this large and complex maze of alleys. The itinerary was well planned to schedule a lunch time of our preference at a nice restaurant. The tour started in the Medina and later covered historic places and landmarks outside the Medina walls. Mr.Rashid was kind enough to hire a car for our tour outside the city walls while it wasn’t advertised as being covered. The shopping in Medina can be very stressful with the aggressive sales people and negotiation. But having Mr.Rashid helped us a lot with the negotiation. We ended up shopping leather goods and souvenirs for a price which we wouldn’t have been able to negotiate ourselves completely. An area of improvement for the tour can be if more historical facts, stories and trivia be shared while on the tour. But overall Mr.Rashid made this an absolutely recommended tour. He met us promptly at our Riad and tailored an itinerary starting from our Riad. He was very respectful, friendly, gentle and could communicate well in English. It was so nice to see how much he cared for making his guest happy. He went out of his way to buy us souvenirs and sweets, which he really didn’t have to. Mr.Rashid thank you so much for your hospitality and friendship. Five stars to the tour company who were easy to coordinate with over WhatsApp and give stars to Mr.Rashid.

Highly recommended - Rachid was a great guide — informative, friendly, and flexible. A Fes native, he had an excellent tour planned for us and was more than happy to add to it based on our interests. The Medina can be tricky to navigate and having rachid as our guide was the perfect way to see all the main sites and learn the history behind them Rachid helped us also for our shopping and he negotiated for us.

Terrible Experience - Stay Away from Momo in Fez! - We had the worst experience with **Momo in Fez, Morocco**—this place is a complete scam! My friends and I (a group of 5) were tricked by **Hicham**, the owner who also runs **Riad Rcif and Riad Fes Maya**. He operates a bazar in Fez where they lure tourists in with fake hospitality and then rip them off. They overcharge for everything, lie about prices, and pressure you into buying things you don’t want. Once you realize you’ve been scammed, they suddenly become rude and aggressive. Fez is an amazing city, but avoid Momo and anything related to **Hicham** if you don’t want your trip ruined. **Stay far away!**

Beware of Momo – Dishonest Business Practices! - I had an extremely disappointing experience with Momo in Fez, Morocco. The owner, Hicham, operates in a way that feels like a well-organized scam, working with local bazaars and guides to pressure tourists into overpriced purchases. From the start, everything seemed orchestrated—guides leading us straight to specific shops, aggressive sales tactics, and prices that were significantly inflated compared to other places in the city. What was supposed to be an authentic experience turned into a frustrating attempt to squeeze as much money out of us as possible. Hicham himself was anything but professional. Promises made were not kept, and when questioned, he became defensive and dismissive. It was clear that the entire setup was designed to mislead and overcharge unsuspecting visitors. I strongly advise anyone visiting Fez to avoid Momo and any associated guides or bazaars linked to Hicham. There are many honest and reputable businesses in the city—this is not one of them. Save your time, money, and peace of mind!

Avoid Momo’s Fez Tour – A Tourist Trap and Scam! - I had a terrible experience with Momo’s guided tour in Fez. He promised an authentic experience but instead led us to a bazaar where we were pressured into buying overpriced goods. It felt more like a sales trap than a cultural tour. He was not transparent about the costs and seemed more interested in making commissions from the shops than actually guiding us. I do not recommend this service—beware if you want a genuine experience in Fez!”
