• Bab Bou Jeloud - Bab Boujloud, also known as “the blue gate” due to its blue facade, serves as the main entrance to the Fez medina. The area around Bab Boujloud is the central neighborhood of the Fez medina.
• Bou Inania Medersa - The Medersa Bou Inania is a Koranic school established in the 14th century. This monument is open to non-Muslim visitors.
• Fontaine Nejjarine - Located in Nejjarine square, the Nejjarine fondouk has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1916, recognized for its typical Alaouite architecture.
• Kairaouine Mosque (Mosque of al-Qarawiyyin) - The Al Qarawiyyin mosque is also the oldest continuously operating university in the world.
• Chouara Tannery - The traditional Chouara tannery is a unique site resembling a watercolor palette. It’s a must-see!
• Al-Attarine Madrasa - This madrasa was built between 1323 and 1325 by the Marinid Sultan Abu Said Uthman. It is named after the nearby perfume and spice market, Souk el-Attarine, and is located close to the Quaraouiyine.
