The second stop is the tranquil Berber town of Azrou, where you will continue into the cedar forests to observe the friendly Barbary apes in their natural environment.
Next, you will cross the Atlas Mountains, navigating through rapidly changing landscapes and vegetation, eventually reaching the town of Rissani, known as the gateway to the Sahara. Heading further south, you will be captivated by the sight of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, which can reach heights of up to 50 meters and extend eastward towards the Algerian Sahara border. Upon arriving in Merzouga, get ready to enjoy a 90-minute sunset camel trek through the shifting dunes to a traditional Berber desert camp. Here, you will spend an unforgettable night dining, listening to music, sipping tea by the fire, and stargazing.
