Visitors are encouraged to explore:
The Old Medina, which is rich with attractions including its ramparts, forts (borjs), historic gates, Jewish residences adorned with wooden balconies, zaouias, mosques, bridges, and caravanserais.
The Bab Lamqam Craft Complex: This site showcases the production and exhibition of Al Moumen (meaning “the cave of the believer” in Arabic), a natural cavity carved into the side of Jbel Bina at the city’s entrance. This cave, surrounded by numerous legends, is revered by both Jews and Muslims.
The Cascade on Oued Aggay is a refreshing spot with lush and abundant vegetation.

Azrou - Known for its cedar forests
Few travelers visit Azrou for the city itself; rather, it is the cedar forests that draw attention to the region.
The most notable resident of these forests was the Grand Cèdre Gouraud, the largest ancient cedar in the area. Sadly, it succumbed to a processionary caterpillar infestation a few years ago.
Nearby the Cèdre Gouraud, there are stalls offering souvenirs, drinks, and peanuts. These vendors thrive due to the presence of hundreds of Gibraltar monkeys in the area, as visitors enjoy interacting with and feeding the macaques.
-
Ifrane - Nestled in the Middle Atlas mountains of Morocco, Ifrane is famous for its Alpine-style architecture, nearby ski slopes, and forests. The stone lion statue near the green park La Prairie is a notable symbol. Just outside the city lies the Ain Vittel source with its numerous waterfalls. To the west, Ifrane National Park, with its Atlas cedar forests, is home to rare Barbary macaques.
