The cooking class is held at Palais Bab Sahra, a traditional Moroccan palace situated in the heart of the medina, near the central square of the Blue Gate. The day kicks off with a shopping trip to a local souk in the vibrant city of Fez.
Participants can learn to prepare a variety of dishes, with popular choices among tourists including different types of tagine (such as chicken tagine with olives, meat and vegetable tagine, and meat with prunes). At the conclusion of the lesson, a selection of salads is served alongside the prepared dishes, accompanied by seasonal fruits and Moroccan tea, as well as mineral water.

Aprons on, everyone! During the class, we’ll explore various versions of the classic tajin dish, a cornerstone of Moroccan cuisine. From chicken and olives to meat and plums, and even experimenting with different types of couscous! Naturally, we’ll enjoy a freshly brewed cup of Moroccan tea, and we’ll also learn the art of making it! Once everything is prepared, we’ll sit down to savor a well-earned meal!
