Moroccan cooking with Nour and Nazha in their beautiful house in Fes medina - We are a family group of 4 aged 19-80, and we all loved this experience. It was very special to be invited into their beautiful home and learn how to cook delicious Moroccan food. Mother and daughter were both so lovely and we really enjoyed chatting to Nour about life and Morocco and food! It was educational and a wonderful experience that we won’t forget!

Nice overall experience, good company - We enjoyed very much our time with Nzaha and Nour, her daughter. We started with shopping in the Souk, ingredients presentation, tea and homemade cookies and a lot of talking:) Nour speaks English very well and we had an amazing experience talking about the differences between our cultures, religions, educations, even politics. Then we went on to actually cook the tagines: chicken with olives and lemon and beef with sweet plums. They ended up being very tasty and flavourful. The price was more than decent, considering the market average. All being said, I would definitely repeat the experience if I had the choice.

Best ever cooking experience- Food fantastic!! - What a fantastic experience. I was welcomed into the house of Nour and her beautiful mother Nzaha, and what an amazing experience it was. The stunning house is a secret behind a brown door, you have no idea what you’re walking into!! I spent hours talking with Nour regarding her life and experiences in Fes, and with her mother Nzaha we cooked the most delicious cous cous meal, with chicken, vegetables, chickpeas and the most spectacular onions basted in spices and cooked with raisins. Better than any food we’ve had in any restaurant. Nzaha has also worked as a pastry chef, and she had baked the most beautiful selection of Moroccan sweets and biscuits. We made mint tea and enjoyed it with the sweets. We were so full of food when it was time to leave. Such a lovely time, I can’t recommend this experience enough, it had been a highlight of our time in Morocco!! Don’t miss it!

A 100% recommended Moroccan cooking experience - We spent a beautiful morning in the company of Nour and his mother Nzaha. After buying the last ingredients together at the local market, we walked through the streets of the Medina until we arrived at their beautiful Dar (ask them to show you the terrace!). My boyfriend and I are vegetarians and Nzaha came up with a seasonal vegetarian menu for us: in a family atmosphere, with fresh vegetables, spices, eggs, and pulses, we cooked together a complete meal with a soup, two typical Moroccan starters (which I had read about in cookery articles but could not find on the premises during our holiday), a Tajin made with fresh peas and eggs, and a simple dessert to finish the meal... forget the classic salads and tajines you have already tried in restaurants! Needless to say, everything was delicious. It was very nice to cook together and talk about cooking while comparing our different culinary cultures, and Nour and Nzaha are kind and very sweet. Nour then sent us PDFs of the recipes, which was very convenient so during the lesson we could concentrate on the preparations without having to take notes. Of the many cooking classes you can find in Fez this one is 100% recommended. Many thanks to Nour and Nzaha!

Best cooking experience in Fes - We had such a wonderful experience at this cooking class with Nour and her mother! From the moment we arrived at their beautiful home, we felt genuinely welcomed. Even though we booked at the last minute, they graciously arranged for us to cook a traditional pastilla—which turned out absolutely delicious! Before the class started, they greeted us with homemade cookies and refreshing mint tea, setting the tone for a warm and relaxed afternoon. The class itself was incredibly well-organized, and both Nour and her mother were patient, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. It felt less like a formal class and more like cooking with family. I would highly recommend booking this class while visiting Fes—it was honestly the best part of our trip!

An experience to live absolutely to understand Moroccan cuisine! - A magical moment of sharing between two different cultures filled with benevolence. We learned 2 tagines as well as a Moroccan dessert, everything was excellent. Nour and his mom share their knowledge of Moroccan cuisine with passion and are caring! The experience begins with a welcome with homemade pastries and Moroccan tea (which you learn to make) followed by a discussion and then learning about spices and finally, we get our hands on the dough so that we can then taste. Thank you for this timeless moment!
