Ifrane - Begin the journey with a 7:00 AM pickup from your accommodation. The trip includes a visit to Immouzer Kander, a quaint Berber tourist town at the source of Morocco’s largest water supply. Continue to Ifrane, a picturesque mountain town often likened to a little Switzerland, and one of Morocco’s most beautiful cities. Your personal driver will guide you to enchanting spots and stunning landscapes, where you can admire the captivating rivers flowing throughout this charming town. Proceed to Azrou.

Azrou - Next, travel to Azrou, an ancient Berber town home to Africa’s largest cedar forest. Enjoy free time in the refreshing forest to explore the lush greenery. Capture memorable photos, relax, and interact with the playful Barbary monkeys.

Midelt - Upon reaching Midelt, a Berber village nestled in the Middle Atlas Mountains, pause for lunch at a local restaurant.

Errachidia - As you drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains and head further south, observe the dramatic transition from lush greenery to arid desert. However, the Ziz River near Errachidia breathes life into what might otherwise be barren land. Stop at a panoramic viewpoint over Ziz Valley, an oasis of palm trees contrasting with the red desert.

Merzouga - Upon arrival at the hotel in Merzouga, enjoy a welcoming tea and take advantage of the pool. Relish a delicious dinner and unwind in the comfort of your hotel.

Merzouga Desert

Merzouga Desert - On the second day, after breakfast at the Auberge, embark on a 4×4 tour of the dunes. Visit the black volcanic rocks of marble fossils, meet a nomadic family living in a tent, explore Khamlia village known for its Gnawa spiritual music, and see Lake Dayte Sarji, which attracts pink flamingos and wildlife in spring. Break for lunch in Merzouga or Hassi Labied. After lunch, explore the canal irrigation system and stroll through the oasis at the foot of the dunes. Return to your hotel to relax and prepare for a one-hour camel trek to enjoy the sunset. Arrive at the golden desert dunes for an overnight stay in a tent, with dinner under a starry sky. Enjoy local music around the campfire, spending the night in a luxurious camp amidst the dunes.

Rissani, Midelt, Fez

Merzouga - Early in the morning, experience the sunrise in the Merzouga desert with a camel ride back to the hotel for a delightful breakfast and shower.

Rissani - Head back to Fes, stopping in Rissani to explore the town’s culture, including a visit to Zawiya Moulay Ali Ash-Sharif, established to honor the founder of the Alawite dynasty, and the dramatic Ziz Valley. Make another stop at Lake El Hassan El Awal.

Midelt - Pause at a local restaurant with a scenic view to enjoy lunch in a Berber village located in the Middle Atlas Mountains.

Fes - The final stop is in Fes, the ancient city, where your driver will drop you off at your hotel or riad.
