Arrival in Fez

Fez Mellah - Upon arriving in Fez, our driver will pick you up and transfer you to the Riad Orientated Glory Hotel for an overnight stay and dinner.

Fez- Meknes- Volubilis

Volubilis - Embark on a 4-5 hour minibus journey to Meknes. Spend the day exploring the Imperial city. You’ll also visit the medina, the Agdal basin, El-Hedime square, Hri Souani, Bab Mansour gate, and the large granaries and stables of Moulay Ismaïl. Enjoy lunch at a city center restaurant. Later, head to Volubilis and then transfer to Moulay Yakoub. Stay at Riad Orientated Glory.

Fez- Middle Atlas

Middle Atlas - Depart for Imouzar Kandar. Enjoy walks around the stunning Dayate Aoua lake, nestled in the cedar forest. Visit the geological site of El Kissaria and the picturesque Ain Louh landscape. Continue along the cherry tree road to reach Azrou. Stay at Gite cottage.

Hiking in the heart of the Middle Atlas

Middle Atlas - Set off on a 2-hour drive to Lake Aguelmam Azigza. Begin a hike through a typical village. While storks are rare, continue through the holm oak forest to the Oum Errabiaa springs. Stop at the riverside reception hut for lunch. In the afternoon, transfer to Azrou via Mrit. Return to Gite cottage for dinner and overnight stay.

Azrou - Midelt - Ziz Gorge - Erfoud – Merzouga

Merzouga Desert - Start early, crossing the Middle Atlas via Tizi n’Talghoumte (Camel Pass, 1907m). Continue along the Ziz Gorges and the Tafilalet palm groves to Merzouga via Erfoud, known for its fossil deposits. Arrive in Merzouga late, and check into Riad Orientated Glory at the foot of Erg Chebbi for accommodation.

Erg Chebbi

Erg Chebbi Dunes - Spend a full day immersed in the Erg Chebbi dunes, the renowned dune massif of southern Morocco. Set up camp in the heart of Erg.

Note: In July/August, during the hot period, there is no bivouac in the erg (hiking is done early morning and early evening) before returning to the hotel.

Merzouga -Tineghir - Dades – Skoura

Kasbah Amridil - Travel to Skoura via Erfoud and Tinghir by minibus. Visit the original site and the vertical walls of the Todra Gorges. Proceed to Boumalne of Dades and its ocher citadels, then to Kelaa Mgouna, the city of roses, arriving in Skoura late. Check into the typical adobe hotel, Riad Orientated Glory, for dinner and overnight stay.

Skoura Palm Grove

Middle Atlas - Explore the orchards and adobe Kasbahs. Later, visit the spectacular Amridil home before returning to Riad Orientated Glory for dinner and overnight stay.

Skoura - Ouarzazate - Tazenakht –Taroudant

Musee Theatre Memoire de Ouarzazate - Embark on a journey to Ouarzazate and Aït Ben Haddou. Visit the old UNESCO World Heritage fortress, then continue across Jebel Siroua to Taznakht and Taliwine. Arrive in Taroudant, a small fortified city. In the late afternoon, stroll through the old medina.

Taroudant – Tafraout

Palais Claudio Bravo, Taroudant - Morocco - Depart Taroudant for the fortified villages nestled in the Anti-Atlas massif, a beautiful mountain circus. Enjoy a 2-hour walk through the granite chaos and discover the hamlets built at the base of massive red rocks. Dinner and overnight at Riad Orientated Glory.

Tafraout - Tiznit - Imouzer – Agadir

Plage d’Agadir - Walk through the argan estate, passing Tiznit before continuing to Imouzer Ida Outanan. Take a 1-2 hour stroll at the waterfall site, returning to Agadir late. Check into Riad Orientated Glory, not far from the beach.

Sidi Kaouki – Essaouira

Essaouira Beach - Enjoy a 2-3 hour walk along the coastal road at the Atlantic beaches before continuing to Sidi Mbarek. Hike along the wild beaches to Sidi Kaouki, then move to old Mogador. Dinner and overnight at the standard Riad Downtown.

Essaouira – Marrakech

Jemaa el-Fnaa - Rise early for a transfer to Marrakech. Travel by minibus to the city of Medina. Dinner and overnight at the standard Riad Downtown.

Jardin Majorelle - Enjoy a full day of free exploration in the Medina of Marrakech. Spend the night at Riad Downtown hotel. This marks the end of your trip. Wishing you safe travels on the rest of your journey.
