Fez Middle Atlas Midelt Merzouga
Fes - Departing from Fes at 8:00 AM, the journey begins by traveling through Ifrane and the cedar forests of Azrou, where monkeys can be observed.
Midelt - The drive continues across the Middle Atlas Mountains. The day will be spent navigating through stunning forests, springs, rugged rock formations, and Berber villages as the route crosses the Atlas Mountains and descends towards the Sahara Desert. Midway, there will be a stop for lunch in Midelt, a town renowned for its fossils and rocks.
Errachidia - The journey proceeds towards Merzouga, with a stop along the way to enjoy panoramic views of a vast palm tree oasis.
Merzouga - Arrival in Merzouga is around 5 PM, where guides and camels will be ready. After a rest, a camel trek across the sandy dunes of Erg Chebbi begins. Enjoy the sunset from camelback, and after an hour, reach the desert camp to spend the night in a Berber tent. At the desert camp, camels are secured, and mint tea is served. After dinner, stargazing is a delightful experience. Overnight stay is in the tent.
Merzouga back to Fez or Marrakech
Merzouga - After witnessing the sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes, camels will be ridden back to the hotel. Following a shower and breakfast, the departure from Merzouga to Fes begins. The route passes through Rissani, Erfoud, Errachidia, and Midelt. There will be a stop for lunch and photos of wild monkeys in the cedar forests of Azrou before arriving in Fes, where guests will be taken to their Riad or hotel, marking the end of the services. Return to Fes by 6:30 PM or Marrakech by 7:30 PM.
