Photographer’s paradise. Morocco in every frame - As a professional photographer, I joined Uniquely Morocco’s desert tour to capture the beauty of the Sahara and the High Atlas. And I left with not just hundreds of photos, but stories and friendships as well. Each leg of the journey was visually stunning. The cedar forests of the Middle Atlas gave way to the vast emptiness of the Ziz Valley, with its date palms and ancient kasbahs. My guide knew the best scenic overlooks and helped me arrange a camel ride timed to sunset. Pure golden hour magic. I caught silhouettes of camels against a glowing orange sky and even some night photography under the stars at Erg Chebbi. In Rissani, I photographed bakers preparing Berber pizza in traditional ovens. In the Todra Valley, the interplay of light and shadow in the gorges was spectacular. Even the drive through the High Atlas offered endless opportunities. From snow-covered peaks to wide riverbeds and winding roads. But what made the trip exceptional wasn’t just the scenery. It was Hassan’s thoughtful logistics, respectful handling of local interactions, and a genuine passion for sharing Morocco’s beauty. I would travel with Uniquely Morocco again in a heartbeat.b

Family adventure that connected generations - We traveled as a family of four. Two adults and two teenagers. And the 3-day desert tour from Fes to Marrakech was the highlight of our Moroccan holiday. Uniquely Morocco provided a fantastic experience that engaged each of us in different ways. From the scenic Middle Atlas to the vast High Atlas, the route was perfectly paced. Our kids loved the monkeys in Azrou and were fascinated by the nomadic family we visited. Sharing tea and seeing their lifestyle firsthand sparked lots of thoughtful questions later that evening. The camel ride into Erg Chebbi was a hit with everyone. Even our 13-year-old, who initially protested, ended up giggling with delight as the camels walked in single file over the golden dunes. The desert camp was well-equipped and had a great balance of comfort and authenticity. We enjoyed storytelling around the fire and watched the stars with complete awe.Berber pizza in Rissani the next day was another favorite. Our son, a budding foodie, declared it “the best thing I ate in Morocco.” We continued to Todra Valley, where the towering kasbahs and canyons had us all snapping photos. The guesthouse in Dades Valley was peaceful and family-friendly, with delicious food and warm hosts.Hassan and his team made sure every detail was handled with professionalism. We always felt safe, informed, and comfortable. As a family, this trip gave us shared experiences we’ll be talking about for years. Highly recommended for families who want both adventure and cultural enrichment.

Solo travel with a deep cultural connection - Traveling solo as a woman can be challenging, but I felt completely secure and respected throughout my 3-day desert tour with Uniquely Morocco. Hassan was communicative from the moment I booked, and the guide assigned to me, Yassine, was professional, punctual, and knowledgeable. We began in Fes and journeyed through the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas, where I saw wild monkeys and stopped to enjoy tea with a local Amazigh family. Despite language barriers, we connected through smiles and gestures, with Yassine translating key insights about their life in the mountains. One thing I appreciated as a solo traveler was the flexibility. When I wanted to stop for photos or ask questions, the guide was patient and attentive. I never felt rushed. The camel ride into the Erg Chebbi dunes was unforgettable. Riding as the sun dipped below the horizon, the sands glowed orange and pink. That night, I stayed in a beautifully maintained desert camp. The tent was private, clean, and warm. I lay awake for hours just staring at the stars. Completely unbothered, free to reflect in peace. We stopped for Berber pizza the next day, and I was surprised at how flavorful and hearty it was. In Todra Valley, we explored ancient kasbahs and walked along a stream lined with palms. As a solo traveler, I appreciated how Yassine introduced me to locals without being overbearing. It was clear he had long-standing, respectful relationships in the area.My night in Dades Valley included a cooking demonstration with the guesthouse staff. It felt like visiting old friends rather than just lodging for the night. On the final day, we crossed the High Atlas and stopped for tea with a nomadic family. They invited me into their home, and I was able to ask questions about their seasonal migrations and way of life. What impressed me most about Uniquely Morocco was their commitment to real cultural encounters, not just sightseeing. As a solo female traveler, I felt respected, included, and inspired. This journey left me with more than memories. It left me with new perspectives.

Highly Recommended! - This tour took us through Morocco’s amazing landscapes, busy markets, quiet mountain valleys, and the stunning Sahara Desert. Hassan, was friendly and knowledgeable, making every stop interesting. He shared stories about the culture and even joined us for mint tea with locals. The sunset camel ride into the Sahara was a highlight, ending at a cozy desert camp. That night, we sat around a campfire, listened to traditional music, and slept under a sky full of stars. The trip mixed adventure with relaxation: mornings exploring historic sites, afternoons enjoying local food, and evenings unwinding in peaceful guesthouses. From Marrakech’s energy to the Sahara’s quiet beauty, everything felt well-planned. If you want to truly experience Morocco’s heart, this tour is the way to do it.

This tour was a life experience. - I didn’t expect to be so emotionally moved by this trip. The landscapes were awe inspiring, but it was the people who made it special. Hamid was our guide, he was warm and attentive, always making sure we were enjoying ourselves. Meeting local families, hearing Berber music around the fire, and walking barefoot on the cool desert sand at night, it all felt magical. It’s something I’ll carry with me forever.

Five Days of Pure Magic and Unexpected Family Review: I’m usually a nervous traveler, but Hassan and Uniquely - Review: I’m Uniquely a nervous traveler, but Hassan and Uniquely Morocco made me feel instantly at home. From Fes’s maze-like alleys to Chefchaouen’s dreamlike blues, every day felt enchanted. Our group bonded quickly, kneading dough in a local kitchen and hiking at dawn through the Atlas Mountains. Hassan always knew just when to step in—with haggling tips or a hot cup of coffee at sunrise. I came for adventure but left with warmth, memories, and a new travel family.

Worth Every Dirham—A Treasure of a Tour - We almost skipped Fez, and I’m so glad we didn’t. Hassan transformed it into the heart of our trip. He linked historical sites in ways that gave them meaning and taught us to recognize quality crafts while helping us get fair prices. His quiet moments—like over mint tea, discussing life in the medina—stayed with us long after. He’s not just a guide—he’s a storyteller of Morocco’s soul.

Perfect mix of comfort and adventure - This tour was everything we hoped for and more. The pace was great and enough time to explore but never rushed. Our driver, Saïd, was friendly, punctual, and very knowledgeable. We were amazed at the variety of landscapes we saw in just three days. The luxury desert camp was cozy and clean, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. This is a must-do when visiting Morocco.
