Breathtaking experience - Husky tour and snowshoe hike at its "finest"!!! - We did the Pure Amazing Husky tour on March 4. Our guide Laura, who was incredibly nice and sovereign, picked us up from the Hotel Metsähirvas. Before the departure we were dressed accordingly with snow boots, warm jumpsuit etc. Then we took the van in a max 10 minute drive to the Husky Kennel. We were lucky, the weather was great and the beautiful snow landscape showed its best side. At about -2°C we were able to start after a short briefing. Our team had 6 huskys, as were only three, so my girlfriend and I with a sled and another young woman alone with a team. It went through a 3.5 km long path across the fantastic snowy forest. It was an incredible experience for us, just fantastic. After 3.5 km would be exchanged and the same distance with Musher Nr. 2 (mir:-)) driven. I almost cried with happiness, that was always my dream - to control a husky sled myself. Afterwards we had plenty of time to cuddle with the huskys and....they wanted to cuddle so much:-) Afterwards we went through the Kennel, Laura told us a lot about the Huskys and answered each of our questions in detail. Afterwards we were allowed into the puppy enclosure, there we also spent some time until we finally went to the campfire in the tent with hot tea and pastries. For me, and I think I can also speak for my girlfriend, it was the most wonderful and unforgettable hours of our Scandinavia trip! Everything was well organized, Laura, with whom we also spent a breathtaking time on a snowshoe hike the next day, told us a lot about the country, the people and nature and was there with full joy and dedication. Thanks for these great and unforgettable experiences!!!

Cute Huskies & Fun Dog Sledding - We did our dog sledding here and we LOVED it!!!!!!!!!! The huskies were so, so, so cute — we’re completely in love with them (Siberian Huskies are my all-time favorite!). The staff were amazing too. We had so much fun and felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the whole experience. Special thanks to Helena (hope I spelled your name correctly!) for being so friendly and wonderful. Definitely a must-visit husky farm!

GREAT EXPERIENCE - It was an unforgettable experience for the whole family. The facility is well maintained and the dogs are in very good condition. I can fully recommend the tour. We were allowed to pet the dogs and play with the puppies. The "self-driving" of the dog sled was really fun. The carriage had to be pushed on the inclines in the running step :) Great experience! Don't think twice, book now!

Great experience - We were given a briefing about how to drive the sled before being allocated a pack of dogs and a sled. My husband and I are on the chunkier side so although the dogs stopped from time to time, they did well to get us around! I thought we would only go a short distance but we were out for some time with the opportunity to swap driver/rider half-way around. Afterwards we got plenty of time to say hello and pet the dogs before being introduced to some beautiful pups! We then had some hot berry juice and biscuits in a teepee and the opportunity to ask as many questions as we wanted before being returned to our hotel.

Just book it! - Fantastic experience , we were the only ones on the tour so felt very private. Great communication with provider and pick up was seamless. Staff were all fab and you can tell the husky’s were very well cared for and loved running. We both got a turn a driving the sled and spending time with the husky puppies after for the kennel tour was great . 10/10 recommend!

A unique experience! - We had a wonderful experience. In particular, our German speaking guide was able to answer all our questions and contributed to a fantastic tour. There are about 120 huskies on site. There are also a few puppies. You really had the feeling that the employees who take care of the dogs were passionate about their job and the animal welfare was at heart. Thank you so much!

Wonderful experience with flexibility - Our pick up was on time. On the 20 min way from city center we had a good chat about Finland and learnt lots of useful info. Our guide explained how to dress up in -36 Celsius. We put another overal on the top of our ski overal and ski jacket, 3 underlayers, 3 socks. 😃 We also used foor warmers, which I strongly recommend. We LOVED the small group tour, it was flexible. For example we preferred spending more time outside with the dogs and 9 week-old pupies, while the other 4 people rather wanted to warm up at the fire. The sliding was wonderful experience!!!! We had a chance to change the driving position with my husband. I strongly recommend this company for a husky tour!

Amazing husky adventure - We had a family trip to this husky farm: included a visit, a husky ride (with driving the sled!), after that a tour around the kennels with interesting info and finally some warming fire. It was a marvelous adventure, depsite the extreme cold (-33 C), thus a shorted husky ride for the interest of everyone:)

Wonderful husky dog sledding experience - Wonderful experience husky dog sledding with hot juice by the fire in the tepee after. Our guides Jake and Minty were very knowledgeable. The dogs were gorgeous and friendly- they enjoyed being petted after the run. We stayed at Hotel Metsahirvas which was the perfect location as we were collected and 3 mins drive away from the husky park. The whole experience was around 2.5 hours, so not just a 10 minute run and then over. Although more pricey than the other husky dog sledding experiences from Santa Village, this small group ‘mushing’ was totally worth it. Finally, my husband and I took turns to drive the sled- so we weren’t simply sitting enjoying the ride- we were fully engaged. 10/10 - fabulous experience
