Lots of fun in a beautiful setting - Lapland Winter Park is packed with lots of fun activities in a beauuutiful setting. Included in the price we had fun sledging, x country skiing, warming up in the kotas, ice-skating, feeding the reindeer, and generally enjoying the surroundings. We also paid extra for my daughter to go mii-snowmobiling. We had a FANTASTIC day!

A wonderful place to visit - My boyfriend and I had an amazing day here! We didn’t realise there was a free shuttle bus so got a taxi there but used the great service on the way back! We loved the toboggan and sauna and couldn’t believe it was all included in the price! The staff were so helpful. Skiing and ice skating was super fun and hard haha! We went up and down the hill in our sledge so many times and it was nice to see the reindeer too! Highly recommend for kids or without. We spent about 4 hours there and it was the perfect amount of time for us.

Can’t recommend enough - Absolutely beautiful place. We stayed here for three nights on a half board basis and loved every second. The staff were really helpful, dinner was delicious and the cabin was clean, cozy and had stunning views. There were plenty of activities for the children to do and they loved their time here. They enjoyed the sledging in particular. Would definitely recommend.

Superb day out! - Superb day out! Booked in advance, and got a taxi which cost £55 from Rovaniemi. Excellent slope for sledging with sledges provided, we did ice skating, cross country skiing, used the various huts for toasting marshmellows and fed the reindeer. Also paid for snow go karting which was great fun, but a bit of a boneshaker, as it was very churned up, but still fun! Lunch was nice too, although getting a seat/table was a bit of a challenge!

Great day out in the snow - This was by far the best day of our holiday.
The price was reasonable and you can use the bus to get there and back for free which we used both ways saving in Ubers. The last bus was super busy though but everyone managed to get on.
We had to queue a little to get in but only because we arrived for opening at 11am off the courtesy bus.
Once inside there’s plenty of fun for all kids. We fed the reindeer which is free. Used the ice rink, cross country ski, melted marshmallows over the fire pits and even paid for a reindeer ride which cost roughly £100 for two adult and one child.
They have free sledges but we took our own with us. The restaurant was lovely, food and drink was a bit pricey but that’s just Finland prices. I paid 8€ for a coffee and a cake. All in all I would go back if we visited again.

The best place to go in Rovaneimi - We came here mid December (21st) as a family of 5 (3 adults and 2 children) we paid for the lunch buffet to be included. After spending the previous day at Santa Claus village discovering Lapland winter park was a breath of fresh Finnish air! This place is incredible, simple and just how a trip to Lapland should be. The sledge hill was a firm favourite across both adults and children and we went down it so many times, it’s fast and fun. My children did the mini snow mobiling which they loved and was similar price to competitors but they had the track to themselves. We also paid extra to go in a reindeer sleigh, we queued for about 10 mins before getting on the sleighs and got pulled through a short but beautiful track. Price wise it matched all other competitor so seemed like a no brainer and felt far less commercial with lots of very happy looking reindeer. We tried out ice skating which was fun and the cross country skiing which was way harder than it looked but great fun for all of us (we all fell over multiple times so be prepared for a bruised bottom) the buffet lunch was delicious and catered for the kids, as well as 2 vegetarian adults, juice tea and coffee were included. Every member of staff we encountered were so friendly and passionate about their job, we had many lovely conversations with staff which really made the experience. We got the free shuttle bus back to town centre, this was the only stressful part of the day as it was heaving! But free so cannot complain. We spent the entire day here and could’ve spent longer if our tired legs allowed it! It wasn’t heaving and we didn’t have to queue for anything, the kotas were perfect to stop for a warm up and toast marshmallows over the fire. The simplicity of this place is what made it so amazing, beautiful landscapes the right amount of activities and it just allowed the children to play in snow (some of which was knee deep on us adults!) easily the best part of our holiday and would return again and again if we could!

Good time - Superb park to do with family. Winter activities are varied (tobogganing, ice skating, cross-country skiing). The setting is beautiful. It only takes half a day to do everything outside the paid activities next door.

Chalet disappointment - Chalet stay review.
Firstly this was our second time at the park after visiting when it first opened last year.
We loved the park- the nature, activities and beauty. So we were so excited to return to stay in one of the luxury chalets.
However, we felt it was very expensive for the service we had.
We stayed on 30th and paid £1100 for one night. The lady checking us in( black African short hair) wasn’t very welcoming. The room wasn’t ready until 4:15. No one shows you to your chalet even tho case are taken. The key didn’t work we were freezing and luckily saw the maid who helped us.
The room is beautiful and such a fantastic set up but we were welcomed with two dirty mugs and a stained bed sheet.
We were keen to maximise the time so said we would let them know when we went to reception.
We were also text at 8am via WhatsApp to say to be out of the room by 11. I didn’t appreciate the text - it was as if our time was rushed.
When we told the same lady next morning our disappointment she said a very unsympathetic sorry and said write it on the website.
All in all, a lovely park with some lovely younger staff especially the activities staff but the reception lady needs more service training.
Also we had to check in with a bus load of park guests in a queue rather than a separate check in. I guess you expect a lot for thar price.

Over priced, over rated. - Very disappointed, not as described. The park was very small and the activities were more for very young children not teenagers or adults. Not value for money at all.
