hunting for the northern lights - Our tour guide Yasmin was fantastic. our tour stopped together at several spots with another guide. We have never had such enthusiastic guides - and we drove hours to find clear sky and finally the northern lights. Awesome experience. Be prepared for a late night.

Thank You - We enjoyed the Wildlife Preserve and Takhini Hot Spring tour and Takhini Hot Spring tour and also we were very happy to see Aurora on our last night. It was very cold, but I was able to participate with peace of mind on the tour where I felt the care of the guide. The blueberry juice was also very good. Thank you very much.

Highly recommended team! - We had an incredible experience with Lapland Explorers! Our guide Daniel was not just a guide but also an amazing photographer. He was extremely polite, humble, and took care of every little detail throughout the tour.
We were lucky to spot the Aurora Borealis within the first 30 minutes, and Daniel captured stunning photos for us. But he didn’t stop there — he took us to a second location where visibility was a bit low, and then to a third spot where the northern lights were absolutely magical — truly too good to be true!
What really stood out was his warm and personal touch. During pickup, Daniel came out of the vehicle to greet everyone personally, and he did the same when dropping us off after the tour. His colleague, who was driving the other vehicle, was also fantastic — both of them shared great insights and made sure everyone was comfortable and informed.
The entire Lapland Explorers team is professional, friendly, and genuinely passionate about what they do.
💫 Highly recommended — a must-try experience in Rovaniemi!
Just a suggestion to Lapland Explorers: Proactive communication on the app/whatsapp regarding the vehicle details. However that will not be an issue as someone from their team will call you/come to hotel lobby.

Phenomenal Experience. Knowledgeable guides, Secret spots - Phenomenal!! TRULY a once in a lifetime experience. Words do not describe this phenomenon in real life. But one thing I will say is how impressed I was with the guides. Not only are they incredibly knowledgeable, but they know all the secret spots and hidden gems to go to, we had the entire area completely to our group the whole time! There were so many people out last night searching for the lights and it was very crowded in so many places. But the guides persevered until we had our own magic area!
Also to note, it’s worth extending your trip here if the conditions aren’t right when you arrive, I’m so glad I did.

Unforgettable - My husband and I initially booked our tour for a Thursday which ended up being a super cloudy night. Jesse was super communicative before and during on the chances of the auroras appearing. We decided to move the tour on Friday which worked out perfectly! I knew chances were pretty low in August for a sighting but Jesse and Erkka really know their stuff! They picked us up from our hotel and we were able to see the northern lights within the hour! It was truly an amazing experience. They even started a bonfire to toast marshmallows and gave us some snacks and a yummy hot juice. It was super sweet and their pictures are 10/10! Would definitely recommend them every time~

Regrettably, I was unable... - Regrettably, I was unable to observe the Northern Lights; however, my guide demonstrated utmost professionalism. He exerted every effort to ensure that the experience was enjoyable.
