Huldufolk cottages and hot waterfall - The lagoon is no longer a real secret but it is wonderfully warm. It is a beautiful environment to enjoy even when it rains. After an hour and a prosecco we walked around in the swimming trunks. Seen where the hot spring is and the Huldufolk lives.

Also a highlight for teenagers - We had the last slot before closing. Advantage: it was emptier, it dawned and you could float comfortably in the water. The swimming noodles were helpful. Relatively, the Lagoon is actually quite inexpensive. And our teenagers were also thrilled and rated the Secret Lagoon as a top event after a week of Iceland. Also practical is the slingshot in the changing area to sling dry the swimsuits.

Great experience - Scheduled to go to secret lagoon for my solo trip to Iceland. The place is well maintained, the staff is nice. The water temperature varies a little depending on where you swim. There is a small shower that allows you to cool off from time to time, otherwise nothing like a little dip in the snow if there is one. All I have to blame is not the establishment but again the people... Some tourists who don't respect anything.

Relaxing and simple pool - Big, relaxed hot pool with a very satisfying sand floor. The geyser erupts every several minutes and there are streams of bubbling hot water that replenish the pool. Two smaller shallow pools (hot & cold) are nice to sit in if it’s a sunny day. Towels available

Great refreshment after a hike - Amazing ancient bile pool with hot water from 38 to 50 degrees, small causer next to it. Pool bottom with pleasant black stones nice walk. Clean changing rooms, provide towel rental, bath foam and shampoo. With the ticket equivalent to about 35€ you can stay all day (m two hours is more than enough...). It is worth the visit when you return from a hike!

Calm and... Heat! - A small place to discover! Few people at that time so very quiet and pleasant. Shared dressing rooms and showers. The procedure explained at the entrance (English, French ..). Strict "hygiene protocol" before immersing yourself in warm waters. Naked shower: Very common in Iceland. Swimwear dryer, hair dryer.. Nothing is missing! Taking flip-flops or something can be handy to go around the pools (there is even a small pool of freezing water to invigorate). The bar area very nice. Warm and cozy. There's plenty to eat and drink.

Experience of a Lifetime - The facility is well organized and really a must do while in Iceland. Pro tip: as you leave the locker room, use the circular tubes to store towel and shoes. Also the facility allows children and requires flotation devices and does have them available for free use.

Great place, choose your visiting time wisely - Really really nice place to visit for a good hot soak in nature. Watch out for tour groups, though. When we arrived we saw in the parking lot already 4 tourist buses, and braced for the amount of people that were going to be there. Of course, it is expected, especially in a touristic spot, to have plenty of people around. The pool was filled with teenage - early adult aged people, who were in groups of 20 in a circle in the pool, making a lot of noise and throwing things around (notably, the lifeguard did tell them to stop that). We came at 11am, trying to anticipate that groups would come in after lunch, but that wasn’t the case. The changing rooms were also full to the brim; we didn’t get to feel the “calmness” of the Lagoon, nor did we really have space to be in the pool which is rather large in size, due to these groups of people which were having a lot of fun - nothing wrong in that :) But I would advise if you plan to go to try to choose an hour (perhaps lunch time? as all groups left by 12.30pm to their buses to head over for lunch someplace else), otherwise there is no chance you will be able to truly enjoy a quiet and calm atmosphere.
