Loved the setting, the waters…the vibe! - On this my first visit to Iceland, I’m sampling as many baths as possible…and I loved this venue in Fludir. The staff efficiently answered my questions and even offered me a chance to preview the waters…I like them hot!!! This facility was perfect: thermal areas lie adjacent to the pool, and the steaming water trickles into the pool’s perimeter. I loved finding hotspots to deep soak and then swim/float around the quite large pool. There’s a nice changing area and showers, solid and easy to open lockers… If the Secret Lagoon had a sauna/steam room, it’d be off the charts! Beverages and snacks available

Relaxed atmosphere - Relax, float and swim in this lagoon. After an hour in the water we think it's enough. Changing facilities have recently been renovated (May 2025). Nice place!

To do absolutely - It's beautiful. You can book online by choosing the time of entry. If you arrive earlier you can sit at the bar and watch people in the tub or rest for a moment. You can rent a swimsuit and towel for a surcharge. I rented the towel, which was clean and well made. Before entering they show you a short video with recommendations: do not approach the geyser behind the tub - it is dangerous - and take a shower BEFORE entering the tub. There is a dressing room where you can leave your clothes, very clean, with lockers with the key tied to a plastic bracelet that you can comfortably keep in the tub. The tub is beautiful, amazing. The hot water is very relaxing, you jump after a few meters in your costume in the cold air and it is very very nice. The bottom is gravel, pleasant to the touch. There are floats and tablets to help you relax. If you want you can take a ride around the tub, on a catwalk, but honestly I was cold. Must be nice though. When you go out there are showers with soap, shampoo and conditioner and hairdryer for everyone. I fell in love even though at first I was hesitant and I highly recommend it
