A little gem of a tour, fun find! - This was a quick tour we added on, mostly because my brother loves Dante and we wanted to send him pics from the memorial - it ended up being truly a fantastic tour! Jenny was wonderful - she grew up in the neighborhood where Santa Croce is and knew so much about the church and the area. Really a great tour, so much history and just an hour out of our day! Highly recommend!

Fantastic tour of a most historic church in Europe - Santa Croce Basilica is a must see in Florence. While at an Irish bar, my wife and I ran into an old oilfield friend danharperflorence@gmail.com. Dan is retired and gives the most informative and enjoyable tour we have ever experienced. The history of Santa Croce is amazing with the tombs of Michelangelo, Galileo, and Machiavelli. He does tours for friends and family so try to run into him at the Old Stove Irish Bar and make a new friend. Dan does not charge for his tour but does accept any donation you wish to make for the preservation of the church.

Reliving History! - It was a wonderful experience! Mateo was our tour guide. and he was simply Wonderful, Spectacular! He gave us a history class of the Santa Croce Basilica, without losing the details behind the reality of Florence at the time from his perspective as a historian. We loved it. Thank you Mateo for transporting us to past centuries! For being so humorous, jovial, for teaching us so much! Sincerely, Nirzka Labault

Excellent! - This was an outstanding guided tour. The young lady (sorry I don't have the name but it started with "L") was very knowledge able and professional despite a cantankerous participant. Very professional. She helped us understand the background and importance and history of what we were looking at. Would recommend highly. Small group and no flag or umbrella to follow!!
