Beautiful views, NOT a beginner hike - Wow! What a day. I signed up for the tour and hike. I'm in decent shape. I've hiked the beginning of the Appalachian Trail, and this hike was intense. This is not a beginner's hike. It was early May when I went and the weather was already warm, bring a bottle for water. Closed hiking shoes are required. Parts of the Trail are steep with an uneven, jagged path. The towns were quaint, however, extremely crowded, so it was not fun to walk around town. One village had a cruise ship drop off hundreds of people. Seriously, the towns were packed, trains were packed, and everywhere had people. But the tour operator was professional, kept everyone together, polite and helpful. My only suggestion is to have a prepaid lunch option instead of asking for cash for a group lunch. The crowds were not the tour operator's fault. This is a popular area. The tour bus was fantastic!

A must see day tour from Florence to Cinque Terre! - This tour was the most organized 12 hour day thanks to our amazing guides Claudia and Joanne. We met near the train station in Florence at 0715. There were 2 large buses, 2 guides on each bus and we travelled almost 2 hours to Cinque Terre. They talked about the sights as we passed them, arranged a lunch and collected the cash for the set meal to order ahead of time if you chose to join them. The bus stopped in La Spezia outside of the National park of Cinque Terre. We took a train to the Village 2 Manarola then a train to village 3 Corniglia- walked up the 385 steps to the town and had a delicious lunch. Half of us chose to hike along the wildest greenest section of the coast for the 1 1/2 hike to village 4 Vernazza and then took a train to village 5 Monterosso Al Mare. We boarded a ferry boat to sail back to village 1 Riomaggiore, then a train back to La Spezia to get on the bus to Florence. In each village we were given a tour and free time to shop and explore on our own. Each guide was so competent, friendly, informative and managed to keep track of everyone! Such an exciting day!

What a wonderful way to experience Cinque Terre without the stress or hassle of planning and navigating. - Cinque Terre is beautiful and not to be missed if you are in the area! Victoria, Emma, and Manuel were wonderful guides and we had the best day! Heads up- it is a long day! We were picked up in Florence, the bus drove us to where we picked up the train in La Spezia. You will see each of the 5 villages, traveling by train, bus, and (if the weather is nice) ferry. You have the option to hike between Corniglia and Vernazza: 3.5 km of stairs, hills and breathtaking views. Or you could take the bus if hiking isn't your thing. My one regret is not buying several bottles of wine while we were there- it is very hard to find Cinque Terre wine outside of this area! Each village has shops, gelato, wine, and beauty. Enjoy!

Cinque Terre with Vicky, Tony and Igor - This was our second tour with Walk About, and it ran as smoothly as the previous one. This activity is long, thirteen hours, and by the end you’ll be exhausted. Keep in mind they are probably the only operator offering all five towns!!! It’s incredible how much we got to see thanks to the incredible work and coordination of our two guides, Vicky and Tony. They have everything sorted out and well planned, and splitting the group in two makes things even easier. Igor on the wheel made sure we got there on time and back safely.

Great tour - It was such a wonderfully organized tour. Emma and the two other guides were so great. Emma was our group leader and she was really accommodating especially for my elderly mom who had trouble keeping up. They worked well as a team and it felt personal and well run even if it was a big group. It was one of the best tours we’ve taken

Beautiful Experience - We had the most beautiful experience exploring Cinque Terre with our guide, Gabriele from Walkabout Tours. From start to finish, the day was seamless, informative, and absolutely breath taking. Gabriele’s deep knowledge of the area, combined with his passion for its history, culture, and natural beauty, made our tour truly special. Beyond his expertise, Gabriele was warm, engaging, and attentive, making sure everyone in our group felt comfortable and had a fantastic time.

Incredible Experience in Cinque Terre - This day trip from Florence was long, but well worth it. Our guides Alessandro and Manuel from Walk About Tours expertly maneuvered a fairly large group through trains, streets and to beautiful vantage points as we visited the 5 villages of Cinque Terre National Park. We opted not to hike from Vernazzo to Monterosso as there is plenty of strenuous walking throughout the day without it. We enjoyed each unique town: eating, drinking, shopping, taking in the beauty and relaxing. Highly recommend if you are looking for an excursion from Florence.

Stunning and wonderful day in Cinque Terre - We booked our Cinque Terre tour with Walkabout Tours using the GetYourGuide app. We spent 10 days in Italy this trip and did 8 guided tours and this trip, with our guide Chris at the helm, was hands-down the best thing we did the entire vacation. Chris is not just incredibly friendly and generous with time and attention, but he also had a ton of logistics to manage simultaneously. With steps to climb, hikes to navigate and trains to catch to move between towns, it’s truly a wonder that Chris was able to simultaneously dispense so much information and knowledge, making each town its own special visit, but also keep track of everyone and make sure all were cared for. I regret not asking his WhatsApp number so we might stay in touch post-trip, or possibly welcome him to the States some day. Chris made this trip truly unforgettable and the scenery of course simply speaks for itself. Thank you Chris!

Lovely day - I loved this day trip. I liked the fact it went to all 5 towns. The boat trip part was great. It's the best way to see the towns from the water. Ample time to stroll around all the towns and have a look. The lunch stop was delicious and in a really nice spot. I didn't do the hiking, but there is a bus that takes you up to the lunch spot, so you don't have to do it. It can be a bit crammed on the bus and on the trains in between towns, so just be prepared to have to stand.
