Tour Michaelangelo's David - Laura did a great job as our tour guide. My husband and I learned so much about the history of Michaelangelo leading up to the famous David sculpture and his life beyond. It was more informative than I expected. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Skip the line tour of Accademia with David - Skip the line tour of Accademia to see David.

Fun and informative - Lori was a great tour guide. Her passion and enthusiam for art history made the tour interesting, fun, and informative. She kept us captivated throughout the hour and it flew by too quickly. She gave us an appreciation for the artist and his work.

DON'T DO IT! At least not with this company. Just get the audio tour. - We were very disappointed in this tour. The tour guide was awful. She raced through the entire tour like she couldn't wait to get it over with. She raced down the street from the pickup area, not caring whether the 5 of us in the tour were behind her or not. She barely addressed us at all. Once we got into the Accademia, she was no different. When I answered a question she posed about an art term, she reprimanded me, telling me she asked questions strictly for rhetorical purposes, so she could answer them. Yikes. The five of us remained silent after that, following her dumbly as she raced through her spiel. At the end, she simply demanded the audio devices and ran off, not saying goodbye or acting as if we were there at all.
I gave 2 starts rather than 1 because she did seem to know her stuff, and we learned interesting facts about David.
DON'T DO IT! At least not with this company. Just get the audio tour. We wish we had saved $100 and done so. The audio tour would give more info without rudeness.

Poor tour experience - The museum is amazing but it started with poor directions on the meeting place. Then we were rushing to test ear buds & mine didn’t work. The guide seemed to be rushing & didn’t pay attention until we were walking though I tried to get her attention. It turns out that she doesn’t carry backups so my husband tried to give me his, Not a good experience when you are trying to learn! The tour was only a little over an hour but was very rushed…I suppose that’s understandable once I saw how much was there but it was quite expensive considering how rushed it was & only one of us could hear clearly! No offer for any kind of refund, either. I’m unlikely to book another tour with this company though I think everyone should see David up close!
